This is the first daylight alarm clock I’ve purchased that I actually like. The slim profile fits easily on my shelf, and it is aesthetically pleasing. Beyond that, it has customizable colors and alarm sounds, displays the temperature, and switches between 12 and 24 hour reading. It was easy to set up, and allows you to determine how much time you want the brightness to increase. I have mine set to being brightening 15 minutes before the alarm set time. It is bright enough on its brightest setting that I begin to wake when it is half-bright. I leave it on silent mode because the light wakes me better than sound. Once the alarm time is reached, it will remain on for 10 minutes; during which time I feel awake and motivated enough to change and leave for the gym. It is bright enough that I do not need to turn on an additional light while getting ready, but not so bright that it is jarring. I find that I get better quality rest, and wake more naturally than with sound alarms (which I can easily ignore, to the annoyance of my other family members), and I do not feel groggy or reluctant to wake as I do with sound. A major improvement to the quality of my mornings.

This alarm clock is great for sound sleepers. The LED light screen simulates a natural sun rise and helps your body adjust to waking up gradually. I love that there are different colors to choose from! You can wake up to your favorite color every day! The light screen doubles as a lamp too; giving off a pretty, warm and calming white light. This also has several sound modes to help soothe you to sleep in addition to waking you up! Has natural sounds and can also play music! This is such a great alarm clock, I love that it not only wakes you but also puts you to sleep! So fun! Enhances your quality of life~

So I got this alarm clock cause it definitely looks good in the pictures. I also needed to replace my old alarm clock because it wasn't to reliable in the past. Something going wrong with the circuit board or maybe the knobs connected to said controls. Either way it would switch periodically (you could actually see it) from having my alarms set to all off (since the settings are right next to each other on the firm knob you turn to change it. So when I came across this one I figured why not and went for it (even though it was a few dollars cheaper a few days later after I bought it). So far it has been almost 2 months and haven't had any problems that I can see with it. It looks very nice, and very compact compared to other alarm clocks I have seen. I also really like the big numbers so you can easily see it from across the room. There is also the option to either have it show the calendar date, or what the temperature is in the room. I already have a few thermometers around in the room so don't need it but it is great to have if you are someone who wants that. I also like the design on the back though you rarely will see it. The light is really cool in how it is somewhat transparent. I tried out the colors a few times and it has presets which are nice and the colors look great. I will say though that when it lights up in the morning it isn't as bright as other light up alarm clocks I have seen. No idea if it is bright enough to affect some people to help them wake up, but it is definitely bright enough to light up the room a bit. Maybe the same amount of light a night light would provide? But I think it has to do with the design for the see through arch and I don't know if I would like a brighter light in exchange for how nice this one looks. Maybe it's possible but more expensive, or the LED's might be bigger thus less transparent? No idea. Best of all is the dimmer knob on the side which is great! Whoever thought of putting a smooth dimmer knob as it's own feature on the side of the alarm clock had a great idea. It's annoying when you like to sleep in a very dark room and you have to go into settings or press buttons and/or turn firm knobs just to get the display to be dimmer or off. With this one it's right there, and it's very fast to switch from bright, to dim, to all the way off. My last alarm clock you had to click and hold down a settings button till the settings came up, then turn the firm knob on top which made a lot of noise just to turn it to off (cause the dimmest one wasn't dim enough) and then click on the setting button once or twice to exit out of it before you would go back to the clock screen. Most old alarm clocks just had basically light on or off. With this clock I am able to quickly and very easily adjust the dimness in like a second and get pretty precise light. I get it JUST above off and so I can still see the numbers in a nice dark room without it blinding me. Another problem other than the main light not being very bright is the generic wake up sounds/melodies. All these alarm clocks seem preset with the same noises. Like literally another/different light up alarm clock by a completely different company has the exact same wake up noises. And every single one of these alarm clocks have bad/cheap speakers to where none of the sounds sound all that great. The only one that is "good" is the birds whistling. Unfortunately though it's only like 4-5 seconds long and on a loop that I can easily tell. Though you don't have to use those noises, you can just go without (but doubt I would wake up enough without some noise). Also they all seem to have certain levels of volume for the sounds which is nice. It also has a USB on the back for charging stuff which I probably wont ever use but nice feature for others. Pros: 1. Very nice looking, definitely a conversation starter/topic for guests. 2. The light is nice, and the colors (and also the color changing) look great as well. 3. Having the ability to show the temperature in the room, or calendar date is great with the extra space. 4. Dimmer knob on the side! So easy to use and also the fine tune control of how bright/dim you want it is better than any other alarms I have seen before. Cons: 1. The wake up light doesn't get as bright as some other light up alarms (at least the other one I was trying out at the time which seems like how bright most people like it). 2. The sounds/melodies for waking up are the same old generic ones that aren't that good. Probably cause of the speaker being cheap (like all others). So all in all, I like this alarm clock. I was a bit hesitant because of seeing some reviews talk about how theirs broke after so many months. So I am hoping mine lasts for a LONG time. I would recommend it to others for now. We will see how it lasts in the long run. If something major comes up I would probably update this review.

I am so in love with this alarm clock! It gives you the date, the time and the day. There's a noise machine attached with super soothing options. You also have a choice if you want an alarm sound to go with the sunrise ( I went with chirping birds). You can choose how loud you want that alarm sound to be even. You can even choose how brightly you want the clock and date display to be. The alarm clock itself is so pretty and so well made and just does so much. I literally typically set 12 alarms to wake up and this got me up to catch the 5:50am train regularly without fail :)) I've had it for almost a year now and it's still one of my most favorite items!

The settings are very difficult to adjust with the buttons. The alarm sound keeps going off randomly, I don’t know how to fix it. And it’s quite obnoxious, sounds like a smoke alarm (maybe mine is broken?) But it’s really pretty and I like the time/temperature display. Hope it doesn’t glitch anymore.

This alarm clock is so enjoyable to wake up to. It imitates a sunrise! If you're alarms is set for 8:30, around 8 o'clock it will start doing the sunrise and slowly shift between red, orange, yellow and bright white light. Then at 8:30, the sound will accompany the light. It also doubles as a nightlight and you can turn on any light color you want or an arrangement of different colors or it can also alternate through the colors. You can dim or brighten. I also love how it has the thermometer. Great gift and great tool. It is so beautiful and adds ambience to the room!

I really wish I could give this 5 stars, because it truly is the perfect alarm clock. It has ALL the features I wanted, with the bonus temperature feature. I love the bird sounds with the sunrise as a wake up, and the options with the light itself. The clock is easy to use and set up. Here's the reason for my 2 stars. I purchased one and the usb port didn't work right out of the box, (which whatever, it wasn't the end of the world) then after a month or so the display started glitching out and parts of it just stopped illuminating. So I exchanged it, because like I said, it is the perfect alarm clock. Unfortunately the second one stopped working after about two months, this time the tap feature for the light/snooze just flat out quit. After two attempts and both clocks quitting after such a short timespan I am disappointed to have to return to my search for the ideal alarm clock.

This alarm clock is good for anybody, babies to adults. It works as a sound machine and a sunrise alarm clock. I can tell while I'm sleeping and facing the clock when it turns bright yellow signaling for me to wake. It is not super bright which is good since I personally don't want to wake up to a super bright light in my face. I don't always wake up with alarm sounds on any device but the simulated sunlight has helped me to wake up. I also like that the snooze button is easy to hit because I have been know to just turn off the alarm but it is easier in my half asleep state to tap the snooze than push the alarm off button. The snooze can be set in increments of 5 minutes. There is a dimmer dial on the side of the clock to dim the clock screen. My favorite part about this alarm clock is that it tells me the temp of my room. It doesn't include decimals so sometimes it bounces between two temperatures but I think it is pretty accurate based on the thermostate for my apartment's hvac system. You can also have it show the date instead of the temperature. You can turn on the light at any time and adjust how bright the light is. It has the colors of the rainbow and multiple multicolored options. There is a sleep timer for the sound and lights, it has starts at 15 minutes and goes up to 90 minutes in 15 minute increments. There are 6 alarm sounds to choose from: beeping, Cannon in D, xylophone (makes me think of fairies), birds and nature, electronic beat and water drops and birds, and xylophone (sounds more tropical). There are also 10 night time noises to listen to: heavy wind, rain, fire crackling, a stream or river or miniture water fall, lullaby music (I think it's called the Brahms Lullaby), piano music, the Brahmns Lullaby again (different intruments), rain and xylophone music, nature and xylophone music, and piano and crackling fire.

This alarm clock does exactly what I'd hope it would; wakes me up with gradually increasing light and pleasant sounds, instead of a sudden, jarring alarm. It takes a few minutes to figure out all the settings and controls, but it's honestly not that hard once you've read the instructions. My only complaint - and it's a minor one - is that the lowest brightness setting for the display is still bright enough to almost double as a night-light.

When setting the alarm to use the "sunrise" feature, there is no sunrise, it just turns on bright, white light. Further more, the product has no wood on it whatsoever. It is plastic that looks like wood.

I like all the settings for the lamp feature! Unfortunately, the lights on the bottom(middle to right side) flicker if the lamp is on a lower setting, which can be quite frustrating. But the dial to adjust the display brightness is a phenomenal feature which (to me at least) mostly makes up for the less effective features.

Instructions suggest that the light should turn on slowly and fade from red to eventually bright white, like a sunrise. As per the video, it just goes directly to bright white. Too bad because otherwise it's great. Also note...there is no wood. Only plastic made to look like wood. Ended up returning. :(
