IntexKrystal Clear Swimming Pool Filter Pump & Cartridge for 8ft/10ft/12ft Pool

I’m still full of praise about our little 6 feet Intex round pool. Even tough I had to repair some punctures since we bought it only a year ago, it is such a joy to take a quick dip and have a beer in it during a sweltering inner city day. Strangely enough our children can spend hours in it as well. Now, one of the issues is that it takes well over an hour to fill and that you’ll have to replace the water after just a few days. For that reason I’m already using some chemicals. Though I was considering this Intex filter pump as well given the intensity of use. Also because it will be of use when we buy a larger pool at some stage or bring it to our second home abroad.Even though it is not listed to work for the 6 feet Intex round pool, based on the responses to answers I figured it would work. And it does - it fits perfectly to the in- and outlets with the water neatly being filtered (I put it on for a couple fo hours per day, not constantly, given the size of the pool).The installation requires some studying of the manual, which is a little time consuming and of medium complexity. But I got it set up in about 20 minutes. The pump looks sturdy and durable. The only thing is that you are advised to replace the filter every two weeks. But I assume this is after constant use, so I’ll just put in a new filter every season, barring lengthy heatwaves. The pump is not too sizeable, even though it arrives in a large box. Yet storage can be an issue considering the set of two lengthy thick tubes that are included.Very pleased with this one so far, highly recommendable.

I replaced a smaller no-name filter with this one and the difference is night and day! All summer we've not needed to empty our pool once because it went green, as we used to before. I've got this set on a timer socket to come on between 1pm - 7pm, and that works wonders at keeping the water clear, (along with some chlorine tablets). I would recommend this. Our pool is an Intex 3m x 2m x 1m

Clearly arrived from another country. Some reviews mentioned they were hit by unexpected customs charges. These seem to have stopped since we left the EU (I order other products from abroad which were always hit with customs and international shipping charges).Fingers crossed it all works - we've bought ahead of time since last year everything rocketed in price once summer hit and everyone was staying at home. This is to go with the electric pool heater we've now bought for our 10ft above-ground pool (after reading lots of helpful reviews and questions a bigger pump is needed for the heater if we want the best use) - we had solar mats last year which were effective but just not enough - maybe if you're south-facing and can place in full sun all day!

Used this for the last 2 years & so far no problems. Very happy with purchase.
