No sunscreen is waterPROOF. They can only be water resistant, or not. I wear this one in the pool, and I'd say it's fairly water resistant, meaning I don't see it coming off in the water like some sunscreens do. But with any sunscreen, you're going to need to reapply it after water exposure. Hope this helps.
