Good idea !!

I cannot get the end off my sprayer to put this on it does me no good whatsoever. Make sure the end of your sprayer can be removed before you buy this product

I tested this durable pressure washer shield on my gas powered pressure washer. It rocks about 3,000 psi or so. Summary, the shield helps, but does not cure, dirt blow-back when you are cleaning heavily soiled surfaces. It does prevent the worst of it, however. You still need to wear protective eyewear and you are still going to get dirty when you use the pressure washer. However, this can cut it down by about a half or more. That is good.The only negative to this well-thought out item, is that the hard part is taking off the pressure washer nozzle holder to slip the cone on. Mine was locktited in place and would not budge despite using various tricks. In the end I had to take off at the gun end instead of the tip end. I lubed the tube wit a bit of Armor All and put it on from the other end of the tube. I would suggest that they make the unit so that you do not have to take the spray gun apart. Make the cone open up or come apart to allow it to slide over the nozzle end and then be fastened down using tie wrap or something.Anyways, I like mine. It helps.

While this does not completely shield you from backfire overspray when pressure washing it does prevent blowback when blasting into a tight cup space hitting you in the face. I can't speak for every angle but it is an advantage. On the other hand I had a high end body shop for 20 years and never used any kind of protective covering on a blow gun and am not going to start now. Wearing protective eyewear is a given though. It comes with 4 different inserts for use with a wide variety of blow guns.When pressure washing any overhead position where you are looking up like when doing the side of the house this protective cover is very effective. When doing my side patio made from concrete and totally flat I didn't experience any blowback.

Overall, worked pretty well.I had no trouble attaching it to my pressure washer wand (a lightweight Karcher model), and it seemed to work pretty well.I wouldn't say it's 100% -- you still get a lot of mist blowing around, and I wasn't totally protected from bits and gunk, but it's definitely quite a bit better than nothing.It also came with a few different adapters for different washers / air compressor nozzles, but I didn't have anything to do with the air nozzle that required a shield, so I can't comment on how well that works.

This helps a bit, but still end up mostly as wet after cleaning the cars/house. Probably not something I would install again.
