Works perfectly for Jiu-jitsu. Stays in place and no more sore knee from shooting take downs. I'm 5'10", 155lbs with a perfect fit. Tip: I've been washing it in the washer after each use (2-3x weekly) and seems to be holding up. I turn it inside out to protect the outer seams while in the washer. And hang dry it. It usually is dry in 24hrs by next use.

I am saying that I don't like it, but I'm sure that it will work for somebody. I ordered a couple to replace some knee pads that I lost. The padding and manufacturing was nice, but inconsisent. Two knee pads of the same size fit differently, one of them squeezing my knee cap uncomfortably. I tried the two on the same knee, so I'm not just deformed :) If I had used this product in wrestling practice, I expect that it would have done more harm than good. The fact that the same kneepads felt so different points to shoddy quality control. If they are designed to fit a person's anatomy, even if it is a generalized anatomical feature, like a knee cap, they should all be manufactured the same. I am sure somebody has gotten some that work great. If you like how they look, or have a pair that you love and want to replace, I would suggest ordering half a dozen, and keeping the two that fit best.

Got this for judo when during mat work. I don't have any knee issue but being in my 50s wanted the cushioning and extra support to avoid issues. Gives good support around the knee and does not move during judo so no normally need to readjust placement. Cushioning is excellent and covers both top and side of knee cap. Does not interfere with motion during my judo. Only thing I notice on the downside is it does not breath well so it will get sweaty during workouts but that seems to be the case with the other ones I have tried that provide this level of support and cushioning.
