Perfect fit
These sanding sleeves are sturdy and durable, but I was initially concerned as to whether or not they would fit properly over my Wenยฎ sanding drums. If they were oversized and too loose they would either slip, or require tightening to the point of deforming the drums. (I have an old sanding drum from a drill press that has deformed in this way.) And if too small, well, they wouldn't work at all. Spoiler: they work just fine. I was curious, so I pulled out my pocket calipers. (Important point: Only the really cool people have calipers in their pockets. ๐) Turns out, the sleeves are consistently about 1/50th of an inch larger in diameter than the drums, which seems to be about right. But it's a tight enough fit that you initially think it's not going to work. But then it does. Thumbs up to a well made product.

Performed as expected. Rubber cylinders strong and hold sand paper well. Used as spindle sander in drill press.

Use for gunstock work
I bought these for my custom gunstock work. I use these without any inserts, they are stiff enough to hold their shape when hand sanding the curvy parts of a rifle stock and when doing the barrel channel I just use the correct size 3/8 inch drive socket and a 12 inch extension. Works great for me. Guy

Schnelle Abnutzung
Relativ schneller Abnutzung. Nach 5 Minuten Nutzung bei Weichholz muss bereits eine neue Schleifwalze benutzt werden. Meine bisherigen hatten Standzeiten von mehren Tagen "Schleifarbeit".
