This short HDMI cable is exactly what I needed for my camera rig - just the right length to reach my top-mounted monitor without a load of excess cable to manage. very compact and works perfectly

The long thin wire makes this a perfect HDMI for all use cases. Perfect for larger rigs, gimbal use and with small rigs I would recommend buying a Sprigg or alternative cable management fixture to double loop the slack.

Bought specifically to connect my Panasonic GH5M2 (full HDMI Out) to an Atomos Ninja V.The Ninja did not see the Panny.Just is case you were wondering if this might have been a problem with the Ninja V, a longer full HDMI cable from Kabledirekt (ASIN ‏: B004BEMD5Q) worked perfectly.But the whole point of the Alvin cable was its much shorter length.I had also bought a mini-HDMI to full HDMI from Duttek (ASIN ‏: B087T2YC3C) to connect to a Canon 90D. This incidentally was cheaper than the Alvin cable.That cable also worked perfectly.As usual life got in the way and by the time I got round to arranging a return for a refund, the return date had closed.A case of "you get what you pay for", except the cheaper Duttek cable worked!!

If you are rigging your camera, then a thin cable suitable of delivery of at least a 4K HDMI signal is essential and Alvin's cables are very good.

Pictured on my rig coupled to my Ninja V from a Sony FS700U. Before spending a fortune on 1 cable, i bought lots of cheaper cables and experienced signal loss/dropout between the FS700 and Ninja V, since buying this Alvin Cable, I have had no picture/signal dropout which is great, so if you was umming and aahing at spending more for a cable, then spend the money for a decent cable like this. I am a return customer to Alvins Cables, and I am not paid by Alvins to leave nice comments, I'm just a humble filmmaker, sorry, a humble happier film maker since buying this cable.

I have this cable for more than a few months but has issues with black screening, would look for a better shielded cable. Seller contacted me about the issues and offered post purchase support of replacing the cable. Very helpful support. +1 star
