Vinyl Designz 1LB Bentonite for Wine Making and More

Not gonna lie, i was skeptical at first. I been home brewing for 3 years non stop. I been trying all methods of clearing my brew. Took me months to year to rack it off and even cold crashing. All my bottles of Moscato have a little slur in the bottom, doesn't affect taste but im a perfectionist. I dont like using filters cuz you waste so much brew that gets stuck in the hubs n lines. Theres also the risk of oxidation. I found another clarifier which is shellfish based. Did it work? Yes but i dont like that it becomes food allergy risk. I found this clay looking for alternatives and my god! This stuff is crazy effective! I just started my beer runs and have a bunch of wine bottle aging in french oak. I tested it with the Chocolate Ale. It started working immediately! 20 minutes in and it cleared up half the jug. I just came home after a party n it was completely to the bottom. This is a game changer! I can brew more batches of everything. My fruit trees are starting to grow fruit n this will help me make more in shorter time.

Exactly what I needed.

This was my first time using bentonite, and I had a very hard time hydrating it into a slurry (even after 24 hours), but it did an excellent job at clearing my apple wine. Perhaps all bentonite is like this. Does what it's meant to do!

Nice quality and arrived fast

I used this in some mead and it is now crystal clear - night and day vs doing it without. I put it in the primary and it's been clear since day one. No issues with fermentation - Not complete yet but the taste seems to be fine based on a taste test.
