Rains a lot where I live. For mild activities this jacket keeps the rain out, comfortable, good quality and nicely finished, fits true, and looks good. For strenuous activity (fast walking for 3 miles) in the drizzle this jacket was wetter inside than out due to condensation. Other con to be aware of: No pit zips, which means that this isn't and excercize or hiking type jacket.

Waterproof: 100% wore and stood under the shower in full force for 5 mins. Not one droplet inside. If you're riding a bike wayer might get in through the neck area but that's not the jacket's problem. It's bound to happen.Material: Highly breathable. Very good ventilation. Don't feel hot like when you use PVC jackets.Fit: Got an L Size. Bigger than expected but that's not a problem. Looks good baggy as well. Plus it will also allow you to wear your bag inside if needed. This product is true to size. If you want the perfect fit go for your original size. Dont pick one size above unless you are ok with a little baggy fit.A lot of overseas shoppers are saying its fake but it's not. The main complaint being that the logo is not sewn and there is no self pack up mechanism. If you visit Columbia India's website, you'll find the product to be exactly as advertised here. Overall an amazing jacket for the price and purpose. I knew it might be a bit small on me but was the last one on a big sale so I won’t hold sizing against it. Better without under layers for me. I have used this through a camping rich New Zealand summer and a kayak and bike rich Canadian spring, so far. It has been great for rain and wind and cold with an under layer. Defiantly cuts rain and wind well. Only issue I have is the sleeve ends are starting to fray very lightly after only a few months use and I worry this will get worse before long. Hopefully not as otherwise it’s a 5 star coat.
