It works great for picking kiwi. The only problem I had was that some of the branches were too close together to get the picker basket through. But that was not the fault of the picker basket. I have a homemade picker, but it allows the fruit to drop where sometimes it gets bruised or cut. I was able to use the picker basket for probably 80% of my crop of 900+ kiwi.

Does not fit an apple.

Skeptical when I ordered this that it would work for picking cherries high up in my tree, but it works like a charm! It quickly and easily attached to a wooden pole I had and I was surprised how well it worked. Made of plastic so it is lightweight and easy to raise high in the tree. So glad I ordered this!

The basket is too small for bigger peaches, so the prongs on the basket damages the fruit. Also, the connection does not screw onto a typical broomstick or paint handle that extends. You need to have something the diameter of a typical broomstick which makes it harder to find something that extends. I have 3 extendable painters handles that I wanted to use, but had to use a standard length broomstick which made it harder to get to the fruit high up on the branches. The design is clever, but for what I needed it for, and for how it was advertised, it fell short.

product is suitable for small fruit, but it took nearly 30 days to arrive once ordered, that is why I am giving it on 4 stars.

This is way too big and clunky to work on cherries, which is what it was supposed to be for. Maybe plums or apples or oranges or something bigger? Not sure.
