I recently started livestreaming by e-bike rides and the wind noise on my GoPro Hero 11 was immediately a pain point. I considered getting a wireless lavalier mic with a fuzzy wind thingy on it (technical term) and then I saw this and figured for $10 bucks it was worth a try. The foam itself is pretty durable feeling but still sort of cheap, but that was expected. It didn't tear to pieces or anything when fitting it on the camera... but I am concerned about longevity. The addition of a replacement battery door with the pop-up USB-C port for direct charging was actually a game changer, but if I need to hot-swap the entire battery it is a chore as I have to peel the foam outside away now. As to the wind proofing this worked like a charm. My voice is noticeably more muffled but the fact the wind is 98% cut out makes hearing me that much better over all. I also feel like this cover will offer a bit of extra protection from the camera which is nice. It's painless to install and if you have modifications to the GoPro it's easy to trim foam away with scissors. All in all get this for wind noise before investing in an expensive and awkward wireless mic system.

Works great for reducing wind noise! using for 40 days on motorcycling and getting good results. And it's still hanging there, but first signs of tearing... You have to be very careful when putting it on and off, as it is fragile... But I wouldn't take any stars because of that, considering the price.

Go pro blocks out most of the wind noise. This blocks out the rest. Just don't charge it with this on, it gets hot. Edit: after using on a couple moderately hot days my camera overheated and shut down. As long as you're moving it's great, but if you have to stop for any time on a sunny day, the gopro will overheat quickly.

It’s a good product and especially for the price. The GoPro USB door is an awesome bonus. I would recommend it to eliminate wind noise.

The door was as advertised but the foam cover is less than desirable. I have other covers that seem higher quality & better fit than the one that came in this kit

Used this cover on my 6th month hike across the US. Held up really well! Had my go pro on the outside of my pack. Never felt like it picked up debris. Did well for cutting wind sound and making audio better. Overall would purchase again

Piece of junk. Just opened it up, try to carefully insert my new go pro and the foam tore in two different spots. The battery door is cool but now I need to find another go pro cover to order

I bought another cheaper on in Amazon one year ago which the prices is less and it come with 2 foam. But the one i got has many issue. The cut holes for the bottom mount is too small. Make it so inconvenience to get the tripod mount out. There is also missing a very important cut holes for the USB charge area. Which is deal breaking for me. Luckily, I finally find this product. All the mentioned issue has been resolved. This foam case cut holes are so well design. Cut hole for USB port is finally opened. The door come with the package is also very good because it is a lot compact than original gopro door with usb open hole No need to think more if you want the foam case. This is the only one you should buy. Don't go for the cheaper price one
