Works great

Works great. I use it to power a 9v TP link router with a USB power bank. And it's nice to know i can also use it for 12v if i ever need it.

Works well with powerbank and compatible with the Masterbuilt Gravity 800. Connection won't twist lock in like Masterbuilt supplied cable but will be enough to make connection (bit of electrical tape to be sure). Easy to use, and had six hour smokes no issues, and can move smoker around to suit weather conditions.

It works fine, but be mindful of the amperage your device needs. I tried using it with my Vive Pro HMD, and it works for awhile, but the converter gets very hot and shuts down regularly under those conditions. As it turns out, the HMD was pulling almost twice the rated amperage, a dangerous situation. All converters like this one, converting 5v to 12v, are designed to take 5v, 2A as input. This is the common input from standard usb sockets. It maps to 12v, 0.833A per the conversation equation. That is fine for low-power devices, but the HMD I used it for pulls 1.5A. If you are looking for a higher power solution like the Vive Pro HMD, I suggest a power bank like the Anker PowerCore II 20000. Whatever you choose, don’t forget to consider the amperage of the cable, converter, or device.

Product quit working after only a couple of days. It is now only outputting 5V and the little block gets quite warm to the touch.

We needed to find the right size to fit in an old Audiovox DVD player so we bought additional connectors. Works great!

I was looking for an accurate step-up converter to bring a 5V output from a power bank up to an even 12V. This converter from DROK does step-up the 5V output as I was wanting, but it doesn't convert to an even 12V like I was hoping. The converter says 12 on the LCD panel, but my Fluke meter sees 12.24 VDC. When the switch on the converter. is on 9V, my meter reads 9.26 VDC. I may not be able to use this for my particular application as a result. Luckily, the converter is just a few dollars which makes the loss easier to stomach.

Mobil internet modemim powerbanktan çalıştırmak istedim (gerçekten mobil olsun). Bir powerbank 5 volt veriyor ama modeme 12 lazım. Bu dönüştürücü ile yapabildim. Hem de powerbankın USB çıkış bu kablo modeme uygun bir giriş yaptı. Süper! Çok mutlu oldum!! :)
