I have tried at least 8 different natural sunscreen brands. Babo is my favorite. I have used Babo Botanicals SPF 40 Daily Sheer Facial Sunscreen, Babo Botanicals SPF 30 Clear Zinc Lotion, Babo Botanicals SPF 30 Fragrance Free Clear Zinc Sport Stick, and this Babo Botanicals Super Shield SPF 50 Natural Sport Stick. I like them all: they are less gooey and less white than other similar product, so they are easier to apply and don't give too much ghost-look. And my 2 sons and I have never gotten sunburn using them, usually with just one application in the morning (contrary to the recommendation). I mostly order this particular stick because the design of the case for this stick is PERFECT. The lid covers basically the entire stick, so when I'm putting it on and rubbing it in and putting more on, the white, oily, stickiness on my hands only gets on the inside portion of the container, and when I put the lid on it it totally clean! Also, the flattened stick provides a wider area of application and does not roll off the counter -- a significant improvement over the round stick. I also find it easier to wedge into my purse, the car, etc. However, this product gets an EWG Skin Deep score of 4 (kind of bad), whereas their round SPF 30 sport stick scores 1 (best). So seemingly, the round stick has better ingredients, so I wish they would also package it in this flatter style. BUT, interestingly, the only difference in the ingredients is that this stick contains Oryzanol, which is rated 1 by EWG, so I do not understand why this product gets a 4. So I'll probably continue to order this, because of the advantages of the flat design. It might be nice if they sold it in a larger size, but this generally lasts 3 people about 2 weeks (of daily use), so it is a decent size.

It was a small little sunscreen stick, but it was easy to spread on. There is no strong odor or smells. It wasn't greasy at all which was wonderful because I didn't feel like I needed to immediately wash it off. In fact as it wore off throughout the day I still didn't feel like I immediately needed to shower and scrub it off. It worked perfectly, so much so I have a few very thin sun strips on my arm where I clearly missed putting on the sunscreen. But that was my bad. I am very prone to sunburns and where I put the sunscreen on I have no burns or even pink skin. Even my small sun strips aren't bad. Plus, I seem to have an allergic reaction to most sunscreens, I had no reactions to this one. Super wonderful and I love it.

I gave this product a shot in my daily routine, mainly as an extra layer with my sunscreen stuff. The fragrance-free formula and organic ingredients fit well with my sensitive skin, giving me decent sun protection. The inclusion of Sunflower Seed Oil and Avocado Oil not only shields against the sun but also nourishes the skin. While the water-resistant feature is a plus for outdoor activities, I found the stick form a bit challenging to apply compared to traditional lotion sunscreens. It seems more suitable as an additional layer rather than a primary sunscreen. It's worth noting that, over time, I noticed a mild acne, potentially attributed to the comedogenic nature of beeswax in the product. Those with a history of acne should consider this and conduct a patch test before regular use.

I tried this brand for the first time to have a sunscreen on-the-go and it is perfect. The Shea butter helps hydrate and protect my face acting as a moisturizer! It is very tiny in size so I don’t recommend this size for beach day use, but perfect for applying in small areas (hands/face).

I use all of the BABU brand sunblocks: the 30 SPF; 40 SPF and 50 SPF lotions. They are all excellent. They glide on the skin nicely and do not leave a white cast and they have a very light pleasant smell. The BABU 50 sunblock stick is the latest in this awesome family of sunblocks. It glides on nicely; stays in place and does not leave a ghastly white cast like most sunblock sticks do. It fits in my pocket and I love having instant access to a robust 50 SPF sunblock. It can also be used on the lips in a pinch ! I highly recommend this sunblock !

I don’t know how this works because I haven’t tried it yet, but it is super small. Size of a baby face stick not a body sunscreen.

I’m a 28 year old female with melasma on my upper lip & the only thing I changed in my skincare routine was using this face stick Every. Single. Day. & it has changed my LIFE. My face is significantly less pigmented & my melasma has almost disappeared. I ran out of the sunscreen stick for only 3 days & just bought a random one at target & my melasma was COMING BACK!!???I am now at the mercy of this sunscreen & pray it is never discontinued. It is expensive- but it’s beyond worth it to me. I would live on beans & rice to afford this sunscreen if I had to.

I purchased 3 suntan options for the kids this hols as this was without doubt the best. SOOOO easy to apply - roll up the stick, paint it on and then rub it in... much less messy that squirting lotion into your hands to apply. Coverage lasted well in pool and not sticky like other lotions. This stick is tiny but it lasted a family of 5 (faces only) for a week and still going strong. Fits easily in a handbag. In future I may use for arms & legs too. Will be buying again & happily recommend to others For those looking for non-toxic options - the non nano zinc oxide means your skin doesn't absorb it - it sits on the surface. Very impressed!

Great sun protection, small stick that makes it easy to have it everywhere with you. It doesnt apply though that well and might leave white marks. But overall good product!
