Pricey but great
Excellent product and great peace of mind with using these. Wish they weren't quite as pricey, though.

Fast, easy, and cheap.
These tubes are great for new work electrical wiring. Since you need to drill holes in the studs anyway just make the hole slightly larger than normal (1 1/8 inch) and tap the tube into the hole. Then run the conduit through the tube and you're done. There is no need to pound a steel protector plate onto the edge of the stud, the tube will protect the wiring. You could also use these for PEX pipe.

Great Solution But Pricey
I would have given these 5 stars except they are a little pricey. I had to buy the right bit for installation but they are very awesome and provide a level of safety and compliance that can't be beat.

Better then plates used to protect electrical wires.
These will protect electrical wires in studs and not make drywall stick out. It also makes the pass through each stud smooth and provides additional protection to wires. The cost a bit more but are well worth the cost.

1-1/4in works fine
I just installed these drilling a 1-1/4in hole in studs with a spade bit. This size works just fine, just don't use any sizes larger than 1-1/4". I haven't tried the 1-1/8 size after all the neg. reviews.

They’re kinda fat
Once I realized you have to drill a 1-1/8” hole in your stud to fit these, I didn’t use them. Maybe ok for a 2x6 but seems too big for a 2x4. Just an opinion though. I’m not an engineer.
