Look, the idea behind this is amazing—turn any controller into an elite gaming machine without spending a fortune. The paddles? Great. The extra functionality? Awesome. The execution? STRAIGHT PAIN. The Good: ✔ Paddles feel amazing – if you can actually get it working. ✔ Gives you a competitive edge – once you survive setup. ✔ Saves money over an expensive Elite controller. The Absolute Nightmare: ✖ The USB on top? A literal torture device. ✖ Trying to plug it in is like wrestling a wild animal. ✖ Took so much force to insert, I thought I was gonna break my controller. ✖ Guess what? I DID break the USB because of how much force it required. If you’re willing to risk destroying your controller and your patience, go for it. Otherwise, maybe just save up for a real pro controller instead of battling this thing like it’s the final boss of plug-and-play devices. ⭐ 2 stars for the idea, -10 stars for making me feel like I was assembling a NASA spaceship just to get it working. ⭐ AND A TERRIBLE MANUAL

It works so good, I love it, easy to instal, easy to program, and it just does its job. Buttons work great and have lasted a good amount of time.

So I love Collective Minds accessories. In the past I've used the Xbox 1 Dominator and the PS4 chat pad. Both worked well for what I used them for. The strike packs are an affordable alternative if you cant get your hands on a custom/pro controller and want to game. I gave 4 stars on the Eliminator only because the setup was very difficult to get around. My back buttons weren't working at all at first and was trying to troubleshoot as to why. Here are the 2 solutions I found. 1) Be sure to shut off your PC's Bluetooth upon first connection. Probably a no brainer for some but the detection can be interefered with since the strike pack wants to register everything through the cable ( as intended ). Also check the Xbox accesories app to see if your controller is connected aswell as this can affect it. 2) And this is the important part, MAKE SURE TO UPDATE THE STRIKE PACKS FIRMWARE!!! You can do this via downloading the "Mod Central" software from the Collective minds site. Updating was very simple once I got everything ready, and when updating make sure to only have the strike pack plugged in and connected to your PC ( obviously ) because again the pack cant be detected if its attached with your controller. I use the eliminate mainly for Halo and after mapping my buttons it works perfectly. This version is very ergonomic compared to the Dominator and seems far more durable besides. I had one of the back paddles break of my old one so the Elimator is a nice change. The universal version of the Elimator is a very nice touch aswell allowing you to swap it between a newer Xbox series X/S controller to an older Xbox 1 controller.

Works great for next gen series s and x controllers. Tried to use usb c adapter from last gen. xbox controller strike pack but strike pack and controller did not work so i was happy to see the next gen packs come out. I just use for the extra buttons. very easy to program. do not have any issues on any triple A title and FPS games with “illegal” or “non supported hardware” If you use the features like anti recoil and whatever else you may run into issues or bans. Great price and the packs last a long time. Cheapest “ghetto boy elite” set up that works great! will definitely buy again when time comes

I got this to see if it could help me get a little faster at Fortnite, and I feel it has. I don't know about the "mods" you can use with it. I only use it for the additional buttons on the bottom of the controller. The are easy to program. I saw some complaints about its easy to accidentally remap the buttons while playing, but I've done it maybe twice in the 2 months I've had it. Bottom line, if you have got to the point that you are reading reviews, go ahead and buy it!

It's pretty slow to connect to my old Xbox One controller model. I wish they still offered the old model of these so I could replace it instead of a terrible "upgrade". This is more of a downgrade. Connectivity is also pretty bad. It tends be spotty and even the buttons don't respond well.

طبعا السترايك باك مو مره كبير ولا يضايقك بالمسكه والاهم من هذا كله وانه 4 ازرار اضافيه انه فيه ايم استت يعني يمديك تجيب الابتوب وتبرمج القطعه ويمدي من نفس القطعه بالاسهم يعني تضغط على الزرين الي فوق وتصير لونها اخضر وبعدها سهم يسار Y ويشتغل ايم استت تصير نفس الكرونس زين والماتركس والافضل تبرمجها من الابتوب تتحكم بقوه الايم استت تقويه اكثر تخليه يلحق ولا تقوي الثبات وبالنهايه القطعه حلوه

Da ich sehr gerne Souls games Spiele und mein Steam Controller einfach Nervig ist wollte ich seit langen wieder ein anständigen Controller mit Joysticks anstelle dieses Touchpad zeug. Leider vermisste ich schnell die zwei zusätzlichen Tasten und siehe da hier die Lösung und man hat glatt 4 Tasten zum neubelegen ;D Das einzige was mich hier bei gestört hat keine Bau anleitung, dachte schon mein Controller oder das Pack wär nicht Kompatible. Am Ende hat es doch geschaft bin einfach zu zaghaft beim anbringen xD

The mods on the controller don’t work, I hold left on the dpad and nothing works, I updated the firmware of the controller and the strike pack and it still didn’t work, and some people say revert the update of the controller, but the new update doesn’t allow u to revert the update so ur stuck with a strike pack that doesn’t work, and after a couple of hours it started flashing red and white and I contacted them using there support email and they were no help at all, serious issue with the strike pack if u have the new gen controllers

Works great, really easy to use the pre added mods work great and the buttons are super responsive.
