Quick start up!
Great so far! Having a rain storm right now, main connection went out during a meeting .. and I was able to power this up and reconnect quickly! Definitely a lifesaver moment.Haven’t used longterm yet, planning to try an eSIM plan for a month to test that out.

Useless For Me… 1.46 mbps was the best speed I could get
I bought this for travel as well as a backup for my home internet access. I posted the internet speed on it and this was after I optimized the signal on the device. I saw the warning on the listing that said this device had a high return rate but I thought that might be because people were not tech savvy enough to set it up… now I know better. All I know is what I see with my use. So bad that I can’t even use simple websites. Maybe it will get a better connection where you live, but for me & where I live this is pretty useless.

My 5 star review of the Numen Air GlocalMe
I gave a 5 star rating because it lives upto the Sanders stated in the details description of this product.

Very reliable 5G internet network
Very reliable 5G mobile hotspot faster than any other mobile jetpack from the major carrier. I can get 350-400 mbps download speed in the rural area nearby the highway where my Verizon phone can only show one or two signal bars. Haven't tried any international area yet but I guess in Canada should work the same as here since we are not too far from Canada. The only downside is the battery life which runs down real fast when doing a lot of streaming or downloading. Another downside is the 5G data plan is quite expensive even with VIP subscription and there is no data carry over to the next data package. Say if you have 30 GB in 30 days but use only 25 GB at the end of 30 days, the remaining 5 GB can't be carried over to your next 30 GB plan. Anyway, the device is highly recommended for frequent travelers

Not so easy for everyone
Many of these reviews speak of how easy this device is to set up. I suspect those reviewers either work in technology or are very comfortable working with technology.People like me who mainly use their computers and smart phones for email, watching Youtube or similar videos, reading the news, or checking up on products or ordering them - may find setting up this device, ordering a data plan and linking it to the device - isn't so simple. For us, linking the data plan to the Numen Air took up at least half of setup time (hours).I ordered this Numen Air because we are retirees who spend lots of time at our computers in smaller restaurants or other places which don't offer wifi. We read thru meals (except dinner). Sometimes it used to take right thru breakfast to link my computer to my phone's personal hotspot. Then it was time to leave!Unfortunately, my wife and I spent at least 4 to 5 hours from opening the box to getting the Numen Air to work as intended. That included time on their Chat (sometimes you get an experienced person, sometimes not). As for phone help, I kept getting "busy" and never did speak to a real (non-computerized) person. Along the way my wife had to calm me down from strenuous reaction to the frustration of staring at a screen which was asserting that I'd entered the wrong password. Turns out my password was right - I'd set it up the day before, but they wanted me to insert THEIR password from the back of the box. Eventually - hours later - I stumbled upon that password and quickly was able to get the device working as intended.I'm sure the problem was much more me than Numen Air. But if I were them, I'd hire a non-tech writer to write up directions in plain English (for the American market) - and then have someone's 80 year old grandmother try to set up the device with a data plan - with no help from chat or a help desk. It should be that simple to set up. (Hope Numen Air and Glocal Me are reading this post.)But now that I'm all set up, I'm glad I got this device. Believe me, it was a real thrill when everything finally fell into place. But for those seniors on heart medicine reading this comment, my best advice is to have your 5 year old granddaughter do the setting up.

Almost perfect except data plan pricing
Pro: Good speed, good signal, durable battery, easy to set upCon: Expensive (especially for use in North America), and data plans are not so flexible. There's almost only either 1-day plan or more expensive 30-day plan available, with only very few 7-day plans that I need
