It's really light, so it makes you think its cheap, which I'm sure its cheaply made. But all the pens write very smoothly for a cheaply mad multi-color pen. Sometimes when you press a color down it doesn't stay down right away but usually stays after the second or third try and to retract it you just press the top of the pen where the characters are and it goes back in. My kids love it

colors dont Retract when you press a new one down.
its a gift . simple as that , but when you want to use a new color you must first Undo the original color, it doesnt' pop up automatically. a small detail. my niece does not care much but i care a bit . its the quality of life part of a multi color pen. and yes the idols on them are cute enough for her .

These are a little delicate. I bought them from a 4 year old and he has a hard time changing the colors. I don’t and I think they are great.

Items do NOT function well for practical use
Cute and they look like fun to use.HOWEVER, the multi-color feature does NOT function well or at all on some pens!!!It will be frustrating to use.Perhaps this is way to teach "patience" and "how things work" to children 7 and 9 years old???

Quality is So-So
It's supposed to be 6-pcs pen in 1 pack, but what was delivered is only 5-pcs in a pack. We noticed that the packaging of the pens has been opened, & the purple pen is Missing! Not sure if it is the Seller's fault, or the packer's fault.Also, in 2 or 3 of the pens (out of 5 pens we received): when you pushed one of the colors (example red or green color), that color that was pushed will not lock in or will not stay down for writing. We're disappointed. We thought of returning the item but I think not worth the effort to return it, so we just keep it.
