I decided to get a pull-up bar to build upper body strength for climbing. What I didn’t anticipate was just how solid it would be! To ease into it, I started by positioning the bar at waist height so I could do Australian pull-ups and gradually build up. The bar is great quality and feels really secure when in use. It doesn’t budge at all. I weigh 60kg and my partner is 90kg, and the bar doesn’t flinch when either of us use it. Pros: • Very sturdy and robust, feels safe and secure • Built-in spirit level helps with easy and accurate installation • Comfortable foam grips, easy on the hands • Versatile, extendable bar that fits different doorway widths I didn't have any cons at all! It arrived on time and was well packaged. Overall, I’m really pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

A robust, heavy duty pull-up bar that remains firmly attached to the doorframe and doesn't slip or collapse. It has small spirit levels either side to ensure stability when setting it up and a soft durable grip. Would confidently recommend.

Seems solid. After reading the reviews i was a bit weary but its fine. People have put about damaging paint etc, but it does state to put paper between to prevent damage and their pictures looks like they didn’t. It is awkward on your own to put the paper in but i did it. People saying it damaged wall and bent frame or went loose. It says solid wood frame. If you have a newbuild its probably not packed properly and weak stud walls so will. Also newbuilds have MDF frames and not solid wood so they will bend and it will go loose. Thats not an issue with the product, its an issue with your cheaply built new build. On my wood frames with solid brick its rock solid. No need to over tighten which i found was my automatic reaction. It is easy to fit, would be easier not holding the paper though lol. Is rock solid and grip is comfortable. Would recommend.

Bought this to replace a traditional door trim hanging pull up bar with a view to just leaving it up since the the door is still able to close. Surprised by how well it holds in place, easy to adjust to fit door but be careful not to over tighten it or it can pop your door frame (oops, noting a little caulk won’t cover) Seems to be well made, the durability of the foam covering I can’t speak for as it’s only been in place for a day. Not sure how the have a more advanced model of this is the basic seems more than adequate to do the job and for a decent price too. Will update this review as needed once it’s been put to test a bit more

That’s better! I ordered the wrong one that was slightly too big for my doorways, this one fits perfectly! And once it’s up it is solid. Really good strong quality. Good weight to it, certainly not flimsy. The handle is a nice material, not cheap spongy foam, nice and firm. The grips are more than sufficient to keep it stuck to the wall, I proper yanked with all my weight and it’s not going anywhere. Very easy to install and works perfectly. Easy to take off and put back on when you need it. Will definitely last a long time.

Very happy with this bar, secured in a doorway between solid walls it easily supports my weight (about 78 kg), still working on my pull up routine but will get there eventually, practical to have a bar at home so you can do some exercises during the day. My kids use it to to hang from as well. Recommended.

Product page claims it is safe for wooden door frames however this is not true. It has cracked 2 wooden doorframes in our home and also caused 2 large cracks spanning the whole bedroom wall from the sheer amount of force required to keep this thing in place. UNSAFE BEWARE. Can only recommend for stone or even brick doorframes as it is otherwise a good pull up bar. Poor advertising really.
