I have a small museum's worth of flashlights that I have collected over the years. Most still work! But, none of them offer all of the options, benefits and brightness that this RovyVon does, especially for the size. Let me count the ways: PROS: 1) Really small and easy to fit in pocket, purse, work bag, backpack, etc. About the size of your pinky finger. 2) Rechargeable (USB C) 3) Pocket/hat visor clip (Removable) 4) 2 powerful magnets (on the tale end and on the clip) (Removable) 5) Push and Hold - Super bright flashlight 6) Push twice: Flashlight - 4 bright settings (super bright, bright, medium, and very low) (click once to change) * Note: if you leave the flashlight on at one brightness level for 3 minutes it will turn on to that level next time. 7) Push three times: UV light or bright red/blinking red safety light (click once to change) 8) Push four times: Side "lantern" light (medium & bright) (click once to change) 9) Low battery indicator (red light on side when operating) 10) Charging indicator (breathing blue light) 11) Fully charged indicator (green light) 12) Also comes with a key ring 13) Really good battery life between charges 14) Comes in several models with different options (UV/red safety light or blue/red "police" party light or different color temperatures) CONS: Uh..... maybe, don't look directly into the light. Otherwise, PERFECT! A lot of punch for the price. Very much worth it!

Very bright, usb-c rechargeable, and tons of utility. I didn't think the UV light would be useful, but it's fantastic especially for pet owners! Red blinking light is great for riding bikes. Weighs practically nothing and small enough to fit on a keychain or in a coin pocket. I find the side lights to be just as useful if not even more useful than the main light for reading or walking around the house without having to turn on the lights and waking others up. Sidelight is similar to using your iphone light vs a flashlight. Magnets are super handy for handsfree lighting. 5000k is high CRI and easy on the eyes.

This is a wonderful little light design. I love the brightness levels and I love the red and black lights. It's so light that I where it on my watch band as EDC. The battery is really good for it's size.

I now have the A8 4G and this light is one of two flashlights that make up my daily carry. I use it most for the moonlight and UV lights. The moonlight mode is perfect for most things I do daily trying to preserve my night vision and still see in the dark. The UV is also well suited for scorpion detection as I live where they live. I also use the red light quite often. It was quite useful on a boat trip in the sleeping quarters as the magnetic end allowed the light to be attached to the overhead, giving the entire compartment a usable red glow. I do find that the red light is a bit bright for smaller tasks and use the moonlight mode instead. As for the brightest mode, it really puts out a lot of light, although for a short distance as expected for a small pocket/keychain light. As for the company, RovyVon is first rate. This is my third light by them, the first an A1 is going strong and other than a lost dust cover has been a great light. The second was an A8 3G. This light lost its function button leaving the case open and unusable without a tool to push the tiny button on the PCB. I contacted RovyVon and in less than two days of communicating (time delay because of time zones was expected) with only two emails going in each direction the issues was resolved. I had the fix in my hand in less than a week. It took me much longer to get a SureFire issue resolved and they are only one time zone away. I find that the quality to cost of the RovyVon flashlights better than most of their competitors. Their customer service though, will make them the first company I look to for my next light purchase.

There is little doubt that this Rovyvon flashlight is a remarkable piece of technology. The combination of design and function is impeccable. The features of the flashlight are a perfect combination for every day carry purposes and the quality of construction ensures that the flashlight will work flawlessly when needed. You can feel the quality in your hand and see the quality in the performance of the device. There is, however, a feature that is not readily apparent even upon close examination of the flashlight and this particular feature is the most important feature that distinguishes this flashlight from all the participants in a diverse and highly competitive marketplace. The feature is customer service. I have been buying Rovyvon flashlights for several years now and many friends and members of my family now use the flashlight after trusting my reccomendation or accepting my gift. I recently had my first problem with a flashlight; the model associated with this review. The problem was a small crack in the polycarbonate case near the UI button. I sent an email to the customer service department and explained that I was not aware of any time that I had placed the device in harms way, but acknowledged that I could not claim with certainty that I was not the cause of the crack on a heavily used tool that was with me constantly. I took several photos for the company representative to review. I took time with the lighting of the photos to provide quality information to the company. I was motivated by a consistent pattern that I had seen in the companies product development pattern. When customers commented on the need for a longer low light or moonlight feature, the company responded. When customers commented on the need to replace micro USB with a C connection, the company responded. In addition, the battery capacity increased, the charging port seal was improved and the clip became more robust and was magnetic. In short, the companies product was evolving in response to client comments and needs. If Rovyvon was willing to put that level of effort into product development, I was willing to take all the time needed to provide quality information to a responsive company. I quickly received a courteous and professional response. My information was reviewed and the customer service response was thoughtful and fair. I look forward to future products from Rovyvon and thank the company for setting such a high standard for their business practices. This is the way business should be conducted. I wish this company much success in their future endeavors.

Perfect every day carry, no complaints

Momentary option available , light on switch bit flat than expected , could have been with more grip , all features available as per the description, good product.

Pricey, but blows all other torches out of the water! Don’t know how long the rechargeable battery lasts, as only use infrequently. Only downside is that the clicks needed to use it are too complicated (or maybe I’m too old) … I just guess and it’s okay. Don’t shine the light in yours or another person’s eyes - they’ll suffer temporary blindness!

What I like: -Very bright front LED with nice beam -Functional side lights. The white light has a nice tint and even flood. White light flash can easily warn drivers on a dark night. UV light works great to charge the glow and works for identifying documents, highlighting stains, etc. -Excellent size and weight perfect for a key chain -Love the glow in the dark. Doesn't stay ultra bright for long, but will be easily seen in a dark room for hours What I don't like: -The switch is small and not the easiest to press. To activate the side lights you need to click 3 or 4 times in a row, which can be cumbersome. A slightly bigger, more protruding switch with deeper travel would work better. -The modes on the main LED could be a lot better. It goes from 2lm - 20lm - 380lm - 650lm... The jump from 20lm to 380 is way too big while the jump from 380 to 650 is too small. The light still heats up at 380 quite a bit and I feel like the 380 mode almost makes the 650 mode unnecessary. If the 3rd mode was around 100lm, it would be perfect as it would be plenty bright without heating up and would provide longer run times. -The main LED always turns on at 380. Mode memory or turning on at the 20lm setting would make a lot more sense. It's annoying turning on the light in the dark and blinding myself with 380lm. If rovyvon fixes these issues, I would gladly buy the newer version.
