Mr. Coffee 4-in-1 Latte Lux Iced Hot Coffee Maker with Built-In Milk Frother Single-Serve 22 Ounces

Just made my 1st cup of latte I guess it is with this maker that I got as secondhand— Or whatever they call it, but it was a $50 reduction so I snatched it up. And it works great; I love it. I haven’t made the iced coffee yet, but whipping the cream while I pour my syrup in it to make my cappuccino/latte is superior to my espresso maker that is supposed to foam my cream on the side, but always waters it down. That is the main reason I replaced my espresso maker with this frappe maker, which I had used at an Airbnb and just fell in love with it.It doesn’t brew as quickly as an espresso maker, but it’s OK. Gives me time to drink 16 ounces of cold water before I start sipping coffee all morning. It’s not nearly as noisy as the espresso maker and I really like that for when I want to make early morning coffee in my husband is still sleeping. I use Starbucks winter blend Coffee At three scoops for 16 ounces which I know is strong, but I’m accustomed to espresso flavor, and grind in a burr grinder so I get really good flavor. I really like the auto shut off or I would forget the milk that is whipping because it doesn’t make any sound.Overall, I think this is a great purchase even though at $149 I never would’ve bought it; That’s just too much for what it is.

to be fair this does do what it should, but the frother isn't my favorite. I just had to return a Keurig latte maker I bought three weeks ago because it wasn't working right and this was the replacement. This takes so much longer to froth the milk than the Keurig did and the frothed milk tastes weird, almost like plastic. (I used the same exact milk I used in the Keurig frother the day before and it was not set to expire for a couple more weeks so I know it wasn't a problem with my milk).I haven't timed it but it seems to take about ten minutes to froth, which the Keurig took about sixty seconds. Those extra few minutes are actually crucial to me when I'm getting ready for work in the morning. Without the use of the milk frother is basically the Mr Coffee single served iced/hot coffee maker, which I already have and before the keurig I used it daily for over two years.

We have had this for a bit over a year. I bought it as an "adequate" alternative to my new habit of purchasing expensive lattes and cappuccinos. I now prefer brews from this machine to anything I buy at the coffee shops. The machine is fast, I make the brews flavored to my taste, and last but not least, this has saved us hundreds of dollars.

Favorite iced coffee maker, I tried the new ninja pods/grounds and that one died on me the 2nd day of having it. This one is doing so well still and I absolutely love it and has made me want to experiment with drinks more!

I actually got a refurbished machine and couldn’t be happier!! It does exactly what it says. I have tried all the features and loved every one. One thing tho - I think it states to add too much coffee. I cut back on that and am very satisfied. It’s not too large and cumbersome for my coffee bar. I love that it has 4 functions and a frother for cold or hot milk. It takes a few minutes for the milk to froth but that seems natural as the milk is pretty much ice cold when it starts. Great value I’ve attached a picture of iced coffee yum !!
