K&N ALWAYS Means Quality and Performance
Got their tiny cartridge filter for my Yamaha WR250R on Amazon since it was cheaper than anywhere local. I think you can run alternate filter changes (change filter only once every other oil change) if you are only changing oil due to time not mileage. Since I ride maybe 2,000 miles a year these days I’ve stuck to that and have had no issues, but I feel better doing that with a high quality oil filter like a K&N.

ST 1300 Impressive
Installed on my Honda ST 1300. I replaced the OEM filter with this K&N filter, I was surprised to actually feel an increase in horsepower. I use these filters on all my vehicles. Simple to install and very cost effective. The last filter you will ever need. You can't go wrong. I highly recommend.

Yamaha XT 250 2021 fits perfect
As the headline says, fits/works for Yamaha XT 250 2021 edition. I've bought 4 of them now over the past year plus. Zero issues, cheap price and 2 day delivery.

K&N filter plus Amsoil is awesome setup!
Very reliable filter, no issues, great price. I run this filter plus Amsoil 10W40 Synthetic every oil change and I have no issues. Do a little research, you might be able to run either the KN-140 or KN-141. On K&N's website, it recommends the KN-140 for all the newer 250's and 450's, including the '09 WR250R. However, when I look up my 2008 WR250R, it recommends the KN-141 (exact same motor as far as I know). I run the KN-140 almost exclusively due the newer bikes listed on its application page.
