After reading many reviews on many projectors I opted for the Halo plus and omg it was so the right decision. It arrived impeccably packaged and from the onset it you could tell it was going to be a quality product. Unboxed it quickly as was like a kid in a sweet shop and was amazed at how easy it was to set up. Quickly connected to WiFi and opted for use of a fire stick purely for ease of use with Netflix. The keystone correction and autofocus work like a dream and picture quality even in a lit room is superbly impressive. ( also didn’t realise it had digital zoom, it DOES!! massive plus ) The only small niggle was a problem with the remote control connection but this was quickly solved with the help of customer service which I have to say the service was flawless. The battery life is good, I got 2 hours 20 minutes and it only takes 2.5 hours to recharge. Also, the sound is very very impressive and I’ve no need to connect it to my Sonos system. In conclusion, this is one serious bit of kit, compact, quality and well worth the money I spent on it. Would love to get the Aura as my next xgimi purchase as I’m sure that would get the same if not better review so I better get saving. Look people, you pay for what you get and with this Halo plus, you’re getting a lot !

Really happy with the XGIMI Halo+ 1080P Portable Projector. The picture quality looks really good, especially for a portable projector, and the 1080P resolution keeps everything looking sharp and clear. It’s great for films, shows, or even gaming, and the image still looks bright and colourful. What I like most is how easy it is to set up and move around. Being portable makes it really convenient, and it’s nice not having to keep it in one place all the time. It feels like something you can use at home, take to another room, or even use for a more relaxed movie night setup without much effort. It also feels modern and straightforward to use, which makes the whole thing much more enjoyable. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you want a projector that looks good, works well, and is really handy to have because of how portable it is.

Review: I’ve been using the XGIMI Halo+ mainly in my campervan, projecting onto a screen mounted in the pop-top, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. The picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and I was genuinely surprised by how bright it is, even during the day. The kids have also used it in our static caravan, projecting straight onto a wall, and it still looks brilliant. Setup is quick and easy, and the build quality feels solid and premium, like it’s made to last. The built-in speakers are very impressive for the size of the unit, providing more than enough volume and clarity for movie nights or casual viewing. One of the most impressive aspects is how quiet the fan is. Even in the close quarters of a campervan, it’s barely noticeable, which really helps maintain an immersive experience. I’ve also tested it in gaming mode and found the responsiveness to be very good. While it’s not on par with a high-end gaming monitor, it’s more than suitable for casual gaming on the move, and I’ve had no complaints. The only downside, and the reason I’ve knocked off a star, is with Bluetooth connectivity. When connecting to my JBL Charge 5 speaker, I’ve experienced frequent dropouts unless the speaker is placed right next to the projector. I’ve tried resetting devices, updating software, and even reducing nearby bluetooth interference, but the issue persists. I’m not sure if this is a unit-specific fault or a general limitation, but it’s something to be aware of if you plan to use Bluetooth audio at a distance. Overall, I’m really pleased with the Halo+. It’s an excellent portable projector that performs incredibly well on the road, in a van, or in a static setup. A great all-rounder for anyone looking for a compact, high-quality viewing experience.

I really like it. Not too noisy, great picture, responsive menus, lets you plug in HDMI. Works great with my Plex home server. Connects up to my Bluetooth headphones with no obvious latency. Can be mounted on a tripod. Good value. What's not to like?

One of the best purchases we ever had. It is normal halo+ with android tv. Netflix is not supported by default but there are apps make it possible. The gtv version support it by default. From near sunset it works perfectly but before that, you should make it dark. The battery is going about 1.5 . Sound is not fantastic but completely acceptable tor this device.
