HEXBUG VEX Robotics Minotaur

HUGE fan of Battlebots, I was stoked to see that Hexbug had construction kit versions of them so I can have my own Minotaur.It was one of the more complicated builds I've done, taking a bit over an hour and a half but the instructions were well thought out and were easy to follow. The overall quality was very good, I kinda expected it to come undone if I used the drum to hit some things on my desk but it stayed together!Please follow up with a Bronco kit!!

Fun build with a functioning battlebot when finished. My 4 year old loves playing with it and it is surprisingly tough.

This was an easy build. I have several other of these, and their instructions are always well done for any age group with the dexterity for some of the things like the tiny washers.Solid when finished, and works well for the gearing. I like the gearing and how they have a mechanism in there that allows the weapon to spin the same direction regardless of which direction you're pushing it and making the tires rotate.No missing parts for us.Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that these are a bit pricey for what you get, but they're still awesome for any battlebots fan.

This was for my 6 year old. It was very fun to put together. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I would recommend to anyone who likes Battlebots

This thing is huge, and it was my mistake because I thought it was the battle bots with the remote control to drive in the arena like the other ones I have. This is not a toy for younger kids unless you plan on building it for them, it has a a bunch of small pieces as well as medium pieces to out together. After it was built it was pretty cool but he had to use his imagination (which is great) and push it around

My nephews loved the other BattleBots produts. Grabbed this as a back to school gift for for the older ones so they can start thinking more about STEM. It goes together easily, and is at a good level for their age.

Missing metal parts. Supposed to have about 40 axles, only had 3. Big disappointment for a child's gift when they get excited and now I'm boxing it back up.

My son was so excited to get this. We put it together and the rollers squeaked right away. He drove the vehicle for about 2 min and the gear popped out. We took it apart, put it back together and same thing happened. This company has a great reputation so I expected better... maybe for general consumers they don't use the good parts they use in school clubs. Very disappointing.
