Mini Fuse Tap

This was an excellent purchase. Last week, I went to Walmart and picked up a single fuse tap for $7.97, and the quality difference is night and day. The one I bought here fits securely, makes solid contact, and actually works the way it’s supposed to. The Walmart version felt loose and inconsistent, which caused a lot of frustration while troubleshooting. What really makes this a great value is the price, about $8 for a pack of ten fuse taps. That’s hard to beat for the quality you’re getting. If you’re doing any kind of wiring project and want something reliable, this is absolutely worth it. I wish I had just bought this one first and saved myself the time and hassle.

What i need

So i purchased this specifically to tap into a fuse and run power into my Jeep without tapping into the existing wiring. I did not want to cause any issues with any existing electrical items, so I bought this and tapped into a fuse in the fuse box under the hood. I ran this wire through the firewall and powered a High power double USB port and also hooked in the switch from my ARB air compressor. It worked beautifully and now I have switched power to both items and is fuse protected. The only other thing I had to do was run a separate ground wire. It seems like this would be the hard way, but it was much easier to run dedicated wiring than removing all of the dash and trying to tie into the stereo or cigarette lighter. Picked these up when I was adding some accessories to my truck and they worked perfectly in the fuse box. Really easy to use once you figure out which slot you want to tap into and they just slot right in with no drama. Got a whole pack of them so I have extras for future builds which is nice because they're cheap enough to stock up on.

Fits perfectly where the ones from the auto stores don’t! Definitely worth it

This was the perfect solution to the problem created by the previous owner installing a fuel pressure meter by wrapping the bare wire around the legs of two fuses!!! I re-did the wiring using these fuse adapters and everything is now working perfectly.

super facil de intalar sin tanta ciencia solo hay que encotrar el fusible adecuado con el mismo amp y listo, buscas la tierra y ya tienes lo que ocuper poner, y queda protejido lo que pones como lo que esta en el fusible original por eso trae dos entradas
