This pomade is one of the best hair products I’ve used. I’ve tried both the wax-based and water-based versions, and they both provide excellent hold and smell great. The water-based version stands out because it washes out easily—especially with conditioner—and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind. It keeps my hair looking great all day (even up to 24 hours) without causing itchiness or dandruff. Highly recommend.

This is my go to pomade from now on. Holds perfectly without being greasy looking. Rinses clean, has a great scent and my hair feels soft. Just finished my second container and ordered the third before I ran out. All day hold, great value and it will be all I use. Great job Johnny Slicks!!

Great product, nice shine and hold , smells great as well

Arrived quick. Smell is awesome, the scent strength (silage) is above average, I enjoyed the great smell all day along, it's beautiful. Shine is below my expectation, not that shiny. Similarly, hold is medium, it's not bad but not the best. Serving size is also below my expectations. There are pomades that a little of it goes a long way. No this one, I use a little over dime-size and it seems not enough - I'm male with an average hair length. Overall, it's a good product given the fact that all ingredients are natural not damaging hair, and best of all the scent is great and powerful. I would buy again.

This pomade is fantastic! I love the smell of it and it works super well on my hair! I will say that while it is pretty easy to wash out of your hair, I personally feel like it's a little harder to wash out of your hands. Definitely not a deal breaker though. It will last for days in your hair, I've only let it sit in my hair for about 2 days being the longest time but I've never had any issues with it feeling like it doesn't hold well anymore. It is very easy to apply into your hair as well, as is any pomade in my opinion. I highly recommend getting this pomade if you want your hair to look and smell great!

This would be five stars if I wanted an oil based product. It would be one star, but for the quality ingredients, and US based, vet owned aspects. At the end of the day, it is NOT water based. The ingredient listing is virtually 100% oils/lipids and not water soluble. Hold is great, ingredients are great, but I have to shampoo numerous times to remove it, and it simply will not wash off my hands and comb. I'll gladly try a truly water based product by Johnny Slicks if they ever develop one.

This product is fantastic! Washes out of my hair super easy, no greasy texture in my hair while using it. The rugged edition smell is a bonus! If you have thick, fine hair it’ll hold throughout the day and you can restyle with a little water. Will try out the oil based pomade next!

I originally was fully on board with Johnny slicks, i used the shampoo, conditioner, and all the styling products for months and thought all was well until i went to a salon for a haircut and the barber informed me of extreme buildup of product in my scalp and hair. The water based pomade isn't water based at all, as water based means water is the base ingredient and water isn't even on the label, and it isn't water soluble at all, every one of their products cause buildup which actually leads to more hair loss as the wax stops new hair from growing properly on the scalp from clogging the pores. The shampoo and conditioner doesn't properly clean the hair and scalp at all which exasperates the issue of the product building up while you use the styling products. It was a horrible, humiliating, and scary experience of how much buildup the products caused, i spent thousands on Johnny slicks and i felt almost betrayed and wish i could get my money back. The whole organic thing is over hyped and just a marketing strategy to charge more for products and get people to spend money, hair loss is caused from hormones, stress, and genetics, there's no scientific evidence that hair styling products cause hair loss. I actually lost way more hair while using johnny slicks than i ever have before, and thought something might be wrong with me, but no it was absolutely the products. After my experience at the hair salon, I'll never use Johnny slicks again, and would never advise anybody to use them.
