Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 Cake Mix, Ready in About a Minute, S'Mores Cake, 4 Individual Pouches, 2.4 Ounce (Pack of 4)

I love these instant cakes. They're a great treat after dinner and what's particularly nice is the portion control. Since they're made as one serving, you can't overindulge unless you go through the effort of making a second cake. This is just cake batter - so don't expect frosting because it doesn't come with it. In my 1100 watt microwave, I heat up one package for about 110 seconds and let it cool for a few minutes. The cake is steamy and warm which is so satisfying after dinner. All you have to do is add a few tablespoons of water to the mix and stir in a coffee mug. Instructions say to heat for 90 seconds, but I add a little time to dry the cake batter out a little more. I'd love to see other desserts come in single serve packets like this too.

Are you kidding? A cake in a cup in 110 seconds? Yep, and they’re fabulous! Perfect size and so very tasty. Kids love them too. Use one cup and one fork and done, very little clean up, no heating up kitchen, and enough variety the kids get what they want. There’s no wasted uneaten cake either. Perfect snake or desert.

I'm not that crazy about S'Mores, but these literally are the Perfect Size for One. I put a little chocolate syrup on them, and they are such a nice treat, especially in winter, when you want a little warmth in your afternoon snack. I also put a spoonful of peanut butter in some of the flavors and it's such a scrumptious texture/taste combination.

I keep these mug cake mixes on hand for my grandchildren-very easy and quick to prepare.

When I and apparently (reading some reviews) others ordered this item it read as if there were 4 individual packages in a pack of 4 which appears like there are 4 boxes of 4 packages but in reality I and others apparently received one box of 4 packages. Suggest the seller reword the item as $10 is too much for 1 box of 4 packages of cake mix.

So good. Glad they switched to packets over bowls. These are my favorite while deployed (and baked goods are hard to find). Would probably be great in a dorm care package, too. Not sure how much the s'mores flavor shines through, but a good vanilla cake!

I would recommend. These are tasty and really quick and easy to make.

I'll be brief with this review since I already posted another one for the Brownie version of Duncan Hines Perfect Size for 1 Mug Cake mix. This has to be the worst flavor I've tried so far of the many flavors available. Reason being is there's no real "personality" to the mix itself, being a lack luster combination of graham cracker with marshmallow and very generic chocolate chips. You end up having everything taste like a single sweet nothingness once it's all said and done. I would avoid this flavor for sure and would recommend any other over this one. Personal favorite is Carrot Cake - even if that one is a bit too sweet. At least it taste like something.
