I’ve been putting 2 tbsp of this protein powder + half and half in my coffee every day for the last 6 months or so for a boost of protein in the morning. I use an immersion frother, which works splendidly. I find it mixes better in hot coffee than cold drinks. Fairly mild taste overall. Extremely great price. I like that it’s just simple ingredients, not a bunch of additives and sweeteners like many protein powders. The macros are great. Will continue to use this for the foreseeable future!

I was hoping this would be the unicorn: a protein supplement that is 1) unflavored 2) unsweetened 3) inexpensive. I want something to use this in place of the plant based protein powder I have been using that was unsweetened but rather expensive and not super tasty. Based on reviews I thought I'd try thins but I have to say I'm really on the fence. It's o.k. stirred into Greek yogurt but I don't love the flavor and find I need to add a lot to fruit to mask it. Not the worst thing but not ideal. I tried putting some in oatmeal like I do with my other protein powder and it curdled, so I guess you can't use this in anything hot. Breakfast ruined but lesson learned. I'll make it through this bag but I can't imagine buying it again so the search for a palatable protein supplement continues.... EDIT: Changing my mind about this stuff. I tried this in a smoothie and it's actually really good - not gritty at all which is rare for protein powder. So as long as I use it in cold things it's a good go to! I'm going to try overnight oats to see if it will work that way.

I needed protein to add to meals without all the calories. Many whey powders I looked at have cancer warnings on them, oh hell no! Idk who would consume something with a cancer warning on it, but it was clear that I needed to look elsewhere. This powder comes in a pretty big bag, I’ve had it for a while now and still don’t really notice any missing! The taste is not noticeable unlike other powders so that is nice, however it does have a milky texture if that makes sense. It feels kind of like flour and basically tastes like milk in powder form- not in a gross way. I love me some milk so I have only ever added it to food products that already have dairy in them, so I can’t speak on how this would taste in something that shouldn’t have dairy in it. However, it is made with milk so I don’t think any of these buyers would be worried about that. I was cautious of people who stated that it does not mix well with warm liquids. I mixed it with my milk before I added oats and put it in the microwave. It mixed pretty easily.

Dissolves very well and tastes how I want it to- smooth, not grainy at all, like you know it’s protein but very subtle, I mix it with matcha powder drink so I don’t exactly know how it tastes on its own, but if you’ve tried the Starbucks matcha protein latte the protein taste of this unflavored mix is more subtle than that, and I thought the Starbucks protein milk was pretty good already! Only downside is that the scoop is really big but like I mentioned it all dissolves really well when mixed with nonfat milk in my shaker cup with a metal spring mixer ball and some ice. Also noticed that I feel full after drinking it, which isn’t always the case with protein drinks! I usually use 1.5 scoops.

If you are using the scoop that comes with it, make sure you adjust the nutritional stats if you are tracking your intake. You will be consuming more than you think. The scoop is 1/2 cup not 33g (1/3 cup). As far as the product itself, it is exactly as advertised and exactly what I expected. Will purchase again, but will change out the scoop to be accurate.
