Good stuff
Rolled easily and the backing came off great when unrolling and never ripped or tore.

Easy to apply but gummy and can buckle when it gets warm
The media could not be loaded. We'll start with unwrapping. This flashing was essentially glued to it's own wrapper. The adhesive while installing is forgiving (meaning you can pull it up to reposition) but only for a short time. It will quickly bond and is quite stuck. When testing, I installed it when it was almost 40 degrees F outside. When the weather warmed up even 10 degrees, it started expanding and bubbling up. This isn't terrible as you can still push it down and install deck boards on it... but it's not the cleanest install. The backing was easy to pull off and it was easy to cut. All in all, not a bad product.

Well Made - Should Work Well
I have a number of projects planned for this spring and one of them is replacing a worn deck and building a proper shed to store cord wood for my wood stove. On the deck, I'm planning to use a wider butyl strip so that it not only covers the top of the joist but also continues further down the sides for extra protection.I'm going to use this material to cover the ends of 2x4 where they will meet with plywood or osb siding on the roof and sides of the wood shed. Yes, I'm sure it's overkill, but I'll be putting in the time and money to build this and doing it and I'd like not to ever have to rebuild it later. The building is exposed on two sides to the elements and whatever I can do to give it a longer life is worth the little extra I put into the build. This butyl material looks pretty good, clipped off a little and tested the adhesive quality and it seems fine for my purposes where it will also be held in place with the plywood and screws/nails.

It works for me but YMMV depending on the environment you're in.
Purchase a 2-packI'm in the middle of repairing my small deck as the previous contractor that install our deck 8 years ago didn't use any deck joist tape so now some of the wood is water damaged.I was using 2" tape and these are just the little bit narrow for the wood I'm using so I decided to take my chances instead of returning and getting another one. It is very sticky with a strong adhesive which is important but I have also noticed that it is and feels a little thinner than the other brands that I have purchased but not enough to call it paper thin.YMMV as it really depends on the seasonal weather that you'll encounter. In my area I get almost year round moisture from the fog but never any snow. I'm also surround by neighbors so their buildings do block some of the moisture which may prolong the life of my deck.

Deck framing protection
I picked up a few rolls of these to protect the joists before the installation of my composite decking installation is straightforward. Just be careful when placing the deck boards on this as there’s no glue per se , or adhesive on these it just sort of clings on there. It does what it should. Full 2 inch would be faster and easier to apply on standard 1-1/2” joists here in the USA.

Very strong adhesion
This pack is wonderful for my needs. The adhesion is great does not stick to itself, and seems to make a well bonded seal.
