The switch was exactly as I ordered according to the manual and the installation was very easy!

This pressure switch was not a direct fit for my compressor. It did function properly. I did have to change the terminals on the wires from a blade type to an eyelet type. The port to the switch is mounted pointing to a different direction than my previous switch. I had to fabricate a new pressure tube to fit. I didn't consider either one of these modifications to be a big deal.

Quick and correct

I have a 30+ year old 5hp Sanborn compressor (B165B500). It recently did not stop running when reaching max pressure, and the safety pop valve did its work. I suspected the pressure switch contacts were worn and welded themselves together. I purchased this pressure switch and it was a perfect duplicate of the original. The compressor now shuts off at the designates pressure (125psi). $20 bucks is a good value. Long term reliability of this switch is an unknown.

Works Perfect

Bought in February. Used the compressor maybe 5 times since then and the pressure switch stopped working. Didn't even last 6 months under very little use.
