2nd One for Our Family
This is a great starter bow. We haven't used this one yet as it is a Christmas gift but We got my son the orange one for Christmas 2 years ago at a brick & mortar retailer and my daughter actually fell in love with it so we got her this purple one. It is really well made and heavy duty. Pick up some extra field tip arrows and a target. Hours of outdoor fun. I would recommend the seller/shipper package better. Delivery companies can be brutal and a half taped box and 1 pc of paper wadding is not sufficient.

Not a good bow
I bought this for $43 at the end of July, 2020. This bow is less expensive than most of the youth bows, with good reason. There is really very little adjustment. I got this for my nine year old niece, she is strong enough to pull the string back to it's maximum stretch but it is way too short, by at least 4 inches (set at maximum draw length). The only reason I bought this was to see if she would keep her interest in the sport, fortunately she has, but a little over a month later, I had to upgrade to a better bow. The accuracy is terrible, even with an experienced shooter, it is almost impossible to make any groupings on target, or keep any kind of consistency from shot to shot. The string seems like it has stretched already and feels like just a simple cable wrapped in a coating. This may be good for a 5 year old, but anyone older will need a better bow.
