The media could not be loaded. Every piece is super helpful! The quality of the items is also great. The crinkle cutter makes it so easy for me to cut items for my6 month old. The ridges make it so much easier for him to hold onto slippery items like avocado, cantaloupe and watermelon. I even used it today to shape the edges of a mango seed. The texture definitely offers better grip.The cutting board and guide is very useful. The board does get damaged if I cut items directly on it with a standard knife. Not a big deal breaker for me. Guides make it easier to ensure I’m getting cuts to the appropriate size.I don’t know how they hold up in the dishwasher because I’ve always hand washed these items. Don’t want the mat to worp with the steam or the crinkle cutter to rust from any sitting water.Highly recommend for anyone starting the baby lead weaning process.

I think this bundle is neat, mostly why I bought it. BUT I believe, and after research, that the size guide by age on this mat is wrong. Some babies may be at the stage of being able to handle the recommended food sizes on this mat but mine wasn't.Most size guides you find through BLW are bigger than suggested on this mat.*6-7 months you want the food to fit in babies hand but also to be sticking out from top and bottom of fist a good bit. With this guide that didn't happen in my littles hand, it just fit in her hand, so I had to resize her food.*8-9 months not bad sizing but BLW at this age is about the same as 6-7. Unless your baby is more advanced then the size is safe but most people start solids at 8m so it's still to small.*9-18 months I had a problem with this one as at 9 months an infants esophagus is about the size of a garbanzo bean... So the mat gives you the perfect size to choke your infant.The size recommended to be safer for 9-12 month age group is, bigger than a garbanzo bean or the size of your thumb knuckle.*>I wouldn't have bought this kit if I knew the diameter of each reference by age for this cutting guide<*The grater and crinkle cutter are large and handy. The zig zag one is fantastic for finger foods that are slippery. Gives a little extra grip power plus it’s a cute shape. Super easy to use and I like the wide handle. Safer to use than a knife. I use the food guide as a cutting board. It’s so easy to clean
