Now that I have a nice set of smaller punches - how did I do good shopwork without the? I didn’t! Having these not only buys you new functionality, but now you save your good tools from using them in lieu. Better work, healthier tools, and a killer value. An extra tip I learned from ScoutCrafter (on YouTube) - save your chisels too, by using an inexpensive brass headed tool hammer.

When shipped, the product was wrapped in its fabric holder and placed directly in a tightly fitting box that is then labeled and shipped. The box it’s shipped in has no warnings against not using a knife. When I used a knife to open the box, it cut straight through the fabric carrying case. Learn from my mistakes, don’t use a knife. Otherwise, the punches and chisels work great. Excellent value product.

Nice quality for the price. I work on alternators and electric motors so they work well for me. I would say appropriate for up to a 36 ounce(2 pound) hammer. If you're going to be doing some really heavy swinging I would go for an American made set but they work just fine for my day to day tasks. Having seen any brittle easily broken chips yet.

While I have not used them all, the punches I have used worked as intended and where very sturdy. I don’t see a reason to think they won’t last for years to come. Primary use will be gunsmith work.

Needed one of each...one punch and one chisel...to knock free some riveted ball joints (thanks, GM!). Made quick work of that aspect the job and held up well. Wish I had a set of these ages ago. The carrying pouch keeps things nice and organized.

This tool set was a lifesaver. I had a wheel hub assembly stuck on my 03 caravan and the outer race rusted to steering knuckle. I broke the hub assembly using a hub buster. The chisel set was the only option I could afford or even think of for that matter, it worked like a charm I made sure to put the cutting side in proper direction and beat the thing with a 2 pound hammer and they perform great. I can highly recommend this set if you're in need of a inexpensive set look no further.

The steel isn't the best. I marred one the first time I used it. I guess you get what you pay for. It comes with two of each size of the tapered and straight punches. One of each size of the chisels. The pouch is nice but the pockets are sewned close together so some are a tight fit.

Like most stuff produced at a low price these tools stink like a cheap asian factory. But for hammering some slag off a piece of steel, or beating something stuck in a hole free they are appropriately made. Used over the last year in a machine shop, mainly for pulling apart seized tool components or removing slag from plate steels. Only occasionally require a regrind.
