Still has some Smoke but it’s better than any other pit I’ve had .

Works exactly the way it’s supposed to. No smoke, burns extremely hot. Be sure to have a lot of wood. Once you use it, you can’t stop!

For my first fire I bought firewood at a big box store. That wood smoked the entire time the fire was burning. I was disappointed as my wife doesn’t like the smell of burning wood so much. I learned hardwood is recommended. I learned the big box store firewood is pine. I bought oak firewood from a firewood supplier and WOW , what a difference. I’m using the pine for kindling so it smokes at first. Once the oak is burning there’s no smoke. I’m really impressed with the Solo Stove now. I bought the metal lid and the spark screen too.

The reviews were correct about not being totally smoke free. However, after sitting out Thanksgiving night with friends, toasting marshmallows. I did not need to wash the smoke odor out of my hair and clothes! Easy to set up and use. Very pretty as well.

Love this pit. Easy to assemble. Keeps my gazebo nice and toasty. Recommend using logs that were inside. I brought some that were outside a store and they smoked a lot more than the dry ones. Which also caused an ecxess amount of popping embers. Overall very good quality. Watching the double burn will have you mesmerized. It has a nice amount of weight. It doesn't get blown around in this Colorado wind.

The flame shot a good eight feet, using Tiki wood packs. I could walk around the stove, within half a foot, without any noticeable heat from the side. But, the wind started whipping around and the top floor get of flame dance pretty close to my kids' heads, the feet away. It was super easy to clean: once cold, lord the bottom dish, 95% of the ash was right there. Some feel into the stove, but nothing on the deck.

Surprising easy to use. This size is good for a smokeless backyard fire for roasting marshmallows or sipping wine. We are very happy with the quality and function.

It's the best one out there.

Sehr gute Nachverbrennung der Rauchgase durch die Kaminwirkung der Doppelwand. Deutlich weniger Qualm als bei anderen Feuerschalen. Marshmellows sind ruck-zuck fertig und nicht verrusst.

Amazing great item no smoke at all just warmth

Expensive but Absolutely worth it Quality product that does what it's advertised to do. Easy to light very little smoke at the start & none once it's in full flow. Nice carry bag which can be used as a cover when it's cooled before cleaning. Cleaning is simple & Quick. Gives off plenty of heat makes a cold evening pleasant to sit out. May buy some of the accessories including the heat deflector which should make it even cosier. Looks the part on the patio.
