Awesome pants
Light weight and launders well.

Great pants.
I love these pants, especially the pockets that keep your phone from going sideways. But someone at work said I looked like Kim Possible. I'm still going to wear them. If you're a bigger person they might be a bit tight through the leg.

They run short.
I usually get 36/32L but this pants run short. I have to return this pant and get 34 L.

Rated as good as Patagonia's
This was my 2nd pair of Eddie Bauer's First Ascent hiking pant. They compare very well with Patagonia's hiking Pants. Fit is the same as Patagonia, pocket placement is better, but E.B.'s rear pockets are not as large. I don't recommend carrying most cell phones back there. They wear very well and quality seems excellent.
