I’m certain this product has been formulated well and the sodium content is ideal but unless you really like a super mild tasting electrolyte replacement, this isn’t for you. I purchased this before an Ironman event to try out because this is what would be offered on course. It doesn’t mix particularly well and I get they don’t want to add anything artificial but having some color in it helps visually to monitor intake and distinguish from plain water.

I started using Base as they were the drink sponsor for a race I was training for that I didn’t end up getting to run (thanks Covid). I really like it, it’s not too sweet and it’s drinkable for hours. I use it pretty diluted (80 cals/0.5 liter) since I also like to eat solid foods during longer efforts. But Base has been really easy on my stomach when combined with Spring gels, banana, pop tarts, and other “super healthy” endurance fuel. I’ll continue using Base as one of my fueling options moving forward.

This is by far is the best hydration solution for endurance sports that I have used. I have completed 6 Ironmans and this product rocks.

This product is great for endurance training. Combine it with their other products base salt and base amino to make rocket fuel! It is a game changer!

I love this product! it's fantastic for the heat with its high electrolyte content. . Mix this with the Base salt and you're golden!
