Bought this for my Mothers peace of mind. She is not used to living at ground level. Have no way of knowing if it will do the its intended job but it is heavyweight and was easy to set up. If nothing else it is heavy enough to knock out an intruder if you wack them in the head with it.

I knocked it over and the head broke off and I was not able to repair it.
