The clasp was hard to open at first. But as you use it, it loosens up.
This works great for holding my diamond painting project. And it holds the packs of diamond drills if you don't have an organizer.

It’s basic. No inside pockets.
Ordered this for work. It’s great. It does what it needs to do. Seems durable. It’s thick enough to hold loose papers inside. The color is nice. I chose purple. The latch works properly. It’s lightweight.

Does not hold 9x12 paper
It’s plastic, but sturdy and smooth. It hold plenty of standard paper. I was a little disappointed that I bought a large size, so I could hold 9x12 paper and have wiggle room, but it’s the largest area that is 13x9.5. The spot where the latch closes is not 9 inches from the opposite side, so, it will not hold the larger paper I wanted it to. The design could easily have been shifted and it would have worked for the size I ordered it to work with. I feel like that was misleading. My daughter loves her purple one and I feel professional with my black one. Colors were as expected. It latches well. Not hard to use and the depth is as expected.

Great for 2 yo bday for coloring
I bought this for my 2 yo grandson. It holds a coloring book and some blank paper and 4 jumbo crayons. The clip holds the page in place. As advertised with round corners... no sharp edges.

I bought two of these. One of them is perfect. The other one won't stay latched.

Nice little storage clipboard
Comes in multiple colors, can hold two to three standard size single subject notebooks inside if needed. Room for pens pencils or art supplies. It's not super heavy duty though so it's not something you would want to accidentally drop on concrete. The side clip might wear out after a lot of uses just because it seems slightly flimsy. Super lightweight, I've accidentally scribble on it a few times and the ink comes off really easily. I would definitely recommend it for kids crafts.
