Bummer!
It's a nice phone. I want to make it work for me. I love the size. Everything about the phone was made for a guy like me.The consBattery runs just a little worm and seems to get wormer when charging.Nothing to crazy I was willing to look past that but the service... That I can't.I'm randomly losing service all the time. Allllllll the time! Most apps don't work unless I'm using Wi-Fi. Music, gps and everything else will start buffering.Too bad because I absolutely love the size and style of this phone.Sep 2: I'm having a replacement phone sent out I'll update soon. One month later...Second phone is acting up the same way.I'm have trouble with 4g service. It drops to 3g most of the time and when that happens all apps start buffering.Makes it harder to play music or even gps. It's got a great look to it. The body style of this phone is cool. Actually one of a kind in my eyes. I love the look and feel but it's having big performance issues for me. Too bad

Not for AT&T
The phone is nice enough. I'll say "not bad" for 2023. It's small and running a relatively recent version of Android in stock configuration without any cruft and it's fairly responsive. It doesn't have a fingerprint reader but, in my case, I wasn't looking for one. The only "quirk" I ran into is that if you want to use two sims you can't use a TF card as the second sim takes up the same slot as the TF card.In theory this phone should be compatible with Google Fi but I haven't tried. This phone no longer appears to have direct support from the manufacturer any more. At least I had a real hard time finding information about this phone on the cubot website about it.Now, for AT&T users... AT&T's network will block any unlocked phone capable of 3G. This isn't an issue with the phone, per se. The "issue" is strictly with AT&T. The phone will see it's on AT&T's network but the network flat out won't let the phone connect for either voice or data. According to the sales rep I spoke to about this: if the phone had the capability of only a 4G connection it "should" connect but the options on the phone don't permit that.UPDATE: The phone works just fine with Google Fi but you will need a physical SIM. It does not support Google Fi's "data-only SIM."UPDATE #2: Ran into issues with Mobile Data on Google Fi. Google Fi's support would not help since the phone is not considered compatible with Google Fi. Mobile data did work when I first got Google Fi but stopped working or would only work intermittently.I'm sticking with my original rating, though. Just good luck finding a network in the US to use it on. (Which isn't really the phone's fault.)

FIX SERVICE DISCONNECT
I think this phone is awesome, except I kept loosing network connection.....I went to settings. network, select mobile network and SHUT OFF "MOBILE DATA ALWAYS ON"and that just might fix your problem!

Random service lost
I like the phone the size is nice but it is not reliable. I lose service randomly all day long. I even flew into a different state and the phone would not even connect to service. I don't recommend it.

Just the right size (IMHO)
In the past, I typically bought used, older phones that are cheaper. I needed a new phone and am tired of the phones getting bigger and bigger. I use my phone often but not for watching videos. Mostly for email, text and Internet searches and reading articles - and calls. I don't want to carry a TV in my pocket or pay a bunch of money. I took a shot with the CUBOT Pocket since it was a great price for a new Android 11 phone and I could always return it if it was crappy. After a couple of weeks, I have been very happy with this little phone. It isn't packed with bloatware and the battery life typically runs for 2 days. The call quality is good too and it came with a USB-C wired headset that works well enough. It comes with a clear wraparound case which is fine although the back of the phone is nicely textured and feels good in your hand. I'm using the case but if it gets trashed that's okay.If you like to have a custom case for your phone that holds cash or cards then the CUBOT will likely be a problem since it's not a big brand that will be supported any time soon by the various case makers. If that's not a problem and you are seeking a good, smaller, cheaper phone - the CUBOT Pocket is quite good.

CUBOT PHONE
MY CUBOT POCKET PHONE IS AMAZING, I HAVE BEEN WANTING A SMALLER PHONE FOR YEARS, TIRED OF CARYING THE LARGER PHONES. NO PROBLEMS WITH MY CUBOT PHONE. I REALLY LIKE USING IT AT THE GYM , OR JUST EVERY DAY CARRYING MY PHONE. THE PHONE CAME WITH NO PROBLEMS, THE PLACE WHERE I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THE PARTS FOR THE PHONE ARE NOT VERY RELIABLE. THEY KEEP PUTTING OFF THE ORDERS. THE PHONE DID COME WITH EVERYTHING I NEEDED, SCREENSAVER AND PROTECTIVE CASE. MY MEMORY CARD AND SIM CARD FROM MY OTHER PHONE WENT IN IT AND EVERYTHING WORKED GREAT. I CARRY MY PHONE IN A CARD MONEY WALLET,WORKS PERFECT FOR THE CUBOT PHONE TO PROTECT IT.I GIVE THIS LITTLE PHONE 10 STARS.

I ordered it 199 days ago. The battery is already bursting.
A couple of things started misbehaving, so I removed the (free, included) gel case. With the gel case on, I couldn't see the bulge. The battery is blowing up.I don't know how long it would have taken to catch fire.ORIGINAL REVIEW - 2 stars.Spotty coverage, otherwise just fineYou're interested in this phone because of its size. That's why everyone here bought it.Unfortunately, its 4G coverage reverts to GPRS (2G) or drops completely in places where the same SIM card finds signal with another phone. So it doesn't work (sometimes).
