Just got the Autel PowerScan PS100 Power Circuit Probe Kit and it’s an absolute beast! This thing makes diagnosing electrical issues so much easier — instantly checks voltage, continuity, resistance, and even activates components with its built-in power supply. The bright digital display, long leads, and rugged build quality are top-notch. Saved me hours on my latest wiring project.

This product works well. If you do heavy diag then this thing is one heck of a time saver. we had a generator that wouldn't crank, unit was basically brand new and just had come off of a rental. Tested and checked just about everything until I remembered that this was on rent and people don't care about others equipment. Unit gelled up and the customer cranked and cranked and cranked. Removed the excitor wire for the starter and sent 12v to it, just clicks. Customer burnt up the starter motor. This is just an example and honestly saved me a fair bit of time for diagnosing it compared to using other means. I also love that it will tell me if it sees a ground, but sometimes it will give you a false reading so be sure you can put voltage to something beforehand so you don't fry or blow anything.

L’Autel PowerScan PS100 s’est révélé être un outil vraiment très utile pour les diagnostics rapides. Le principal avantage est la possibilité non seulement de mesurer la tension DC/AC, la résistance et la polarité, mais aussi d’envoyer directement du positif ou de la masse sur un composant depuis l’appareil. Cela accélère énormément le contrôle des ventilateurs, relais, lampes, pompes, serrures et autres actionneurs sans devoir tirer des fils supplémentaires. Très pratique également pour tester les relais, diodes, fusibles et la continuité des circuits. L’appareil aide aussi efficacement à trouver les mauvais contacts de masse et les courts-circuits. La protection par disjoncteur automatique est un vrai plus pour une utilisation professionnelle. L’écran est de bonne qualité et le long câble avec rallonge permet de travailler facilement même sur des fourgons et poids lourds en 24V. J’apprécie aussi le signal sonore et la lampe intégrée. Au final, c’est une combinaison de multimètre, lampe témoin et power probe dans un seul appareil. Pour un électricien automobile, c’est un excellent outil qui fait réellement gagner du temps lors des diagnostics. This is my diagnostic tool of choice. I use it for almost everything. It can't do higher current devices or parasitic current draw testing like the Snap-on. But it's 20% of the price and it can scope wave forms which the Snap-on can't do. I use it every day. For example if you have an inoperative blind spot (side object detection), you can back probe the wires at the module with a back probe and test lead that is not included. You can see power, ground and in A/C mode you can see communication. Then you can power the LED in the mirror and test that too. Don't drop the tool because it will break. Especially after it hits the floor several times. It's cheap enough that replacement isn't so bad.
