Doesn't work well for us
I'm sure this is a great filter and is suitable for many people: however, we clearly live in an area that isn't well suited to this filter. It may filter out particulates, but it our water tastes horrible with it, even after ten days of use. I don't know what it is, but I know our old carbon filters made our water taste much better. My compliments to Membrane Solutions, who reached out to me and offered suggestions on resolving the issue. Their support is superb. This filter may work perfectly for you: given the difference in water quality, this filter either removes something, or allows something through, that is different from our previous brand of filter. The solution for us is clear: back to what we know works for us.
