These are excellent scissors for cutting poultry! They are sharp and heavy duty. They are very easy to clean. I love how they fit in my hand, would not hesitate to buy!

These DRAGON RIOT shears are an absolute game-changer for my kitchen! I used to struggle with prepping whole chickens, but these cut through bones like butter. They feel super solid in your hand and don't slip at all. Plus, the fact that they come apart for easy washing is a huge win. If you cook a lot, you need these in your kitchen!

Heavy and bulky but good. I have used these about a dozen times and I am always surprised by how well it works. It comes apart easily for cleaning. Make sure not to lose the round squeeze clip as this is integral to the scissoring motion. It looks more like an Elvish sword than poultry shears but works well. I tried several others and they do not work well. Henckels and OXO are some of the failed attempts. It is best for breaking down a chicken. So it is not a great multi-use device.

I got a pair of these in the hopes of making processing chickens easier... The only problem was that i only had one pair and we all wanted them. These things are solid, they are comfortable and they can cut right through bone.. These things come with an additional spring (surprisingly easy to replace), and they come apart to sharpen or to use as a knife. just turn the thumb screw so it's not in the way of the scissor blade and open them up, they come right apart. The spring won't be under tension at that point so it's just sitting there, putting them back together is as easy as taking them apart. Even the latch that holds the scissors closed when not in use is spring loaded and folds into the handle when using the scissors. You wouldn't even know the latch was there until you wanted to use it. I liked this product so much that i bought 2 more (no more arguments over the use of the scissors). Normally i only do reviews on items where i kidna wish that someone had said this or that before i bought it, like an off-use for a product or something. These impressed me so much for the price that they fall into that category, you need more than 1 pair, because they are too good!

You will not find a better pair of kitchen shears. They are insanely sharp. Very capable of any cutting almost anything. I purchased these for cutting a turkey breastbone for spatchcocking. Not an issue in any way with these shears. The size is perfect and so far they are bullet proof. A great value for the money. The one issue that keeps me from giving a 5 star review is the handle. The handle is metal. As you can imagine when using them, if your hands are the least bit greasy they become a little bit more difficult to hold and use. Any type of grease on your hands while holding these, they begin to feel somewhat unstable in your hand. I combat this but throughly washing the shears handle and my hands before using them. Otherwise, these are superb!

I have loved these shears for a lot of kitchen reasons. They’re definitely bigger than the Oxo or Kitchen Aid shears I’ve had before, but they beat the tar out of them for cutting through the tough stuff. But they have a wow factor I didn’t anticipate. Recent flooding in Indiana got my basement which has never ever flooded. I had a 7x5 Persian-type rug down there that just sat in water soaking it up past saturation. When the water drained away, I couldn’t drag that rug a foot, much less up the stairs. I’m a 75 year old woman, kind of good shape and live by myself. After trying all the tools - wire cutters, razor blades - these dang shears cut right through! I cut the rug in three pieces and got it out of the house. I am so impressed with these shears. My kids are getting them for Christmas. Ten stars.

i bought these because my hands have started to shake so i needed an alternative to using a knife. this is an excellent alternative. they are easy to use. they are comfortable in your hand. they are easy to clean. it's easy to take them apart if necessary, to clean them and then put them back together. they are definitely rust resistant, just don't put them away wet. i keep mine in a drawer, they dry in no time so putting them away wet is not a problem (i don't have a dishwasher so they are handwashed) there's a hook on the bottom of one handle that keeps the shears closed so there's no worry about accidentally cutting yourself when picking them up. not only are they pretty, a side benefit, they work great. they cut through the skin, flesh, and bones of a chicken or any other poultry. i have also used them on lamb and pork. i've used them on some vegetables depending on how i wanted them cut. they're a great tool, a good companion to your favorite kitchen knives.

I haven’t use it but it looks sturdy. I am very it will work well.

Ci ho messo un pò a decidermi a recensirle, a differenza di altre che mi hanno bellamente deluso, queste forbici no, non hanno disatteso le aspettative e magari mi hanno anche sorpreso. 1) - Tagliano. E no, non ditemi che è normale. Queste tagliano sul serio e basta mostrale in giro che il materiale si divide da solo. 2) - sono pesantine e danno senso di sicurezza 3) - sono smontabili e permettono una perfetta pulizia ( non mettetele in lavastoviglie...) 4) - Se conoscete un bravo artigiano potete anche riaffilarle ( sempre che ce ne sia bisogno..) 5) - Le lame sono ribadinate e non incollate al manico alla benemeglio, questo ne indica la durabilità 6) - Non ultimo, chiusura a molla per tenerle in sicurezza quando non sono nelle vostre mani Questo il mio pensiero e la mia esperienza, io le consiglio caldamente e sono sicuro non ve ne pentirete

An excellent pair of kitchen shears. Cuts through chicken and fish effortlessly. The bones are clean cut with no splintering. A great find, good build and a must for the kitchen.

Brilliant shears. It cuts through thick chicken bones with absolute ease. I've been looking for something that actually works for this purpose for a lot of years and these do the job perfectly. Worth every dollar and I STRONGLY recommend these!
