These Merckens melting wafers are excellent for baking and candy making! They melt smoothly, have a rich and delicious flavor, and create a beautiful, glossy finish on treats. They are easy to work with and don’t require a lot of effort to get the perfect consistency. I’ve used them for cake pops, chocolate-covered strawberries, and homemade candies, and the results have been amazing every time. I will definitely be buying them again!

What a game changer for making treats! I always used the stuff you can but at the grocery store or the craft store, but this was perfect! I didn't need to mess with it at all. It melted evenly and quickly. It was easy to color (with oil based colors) and taste good too. I got this as a test for a baby shower I am doing for a friend and now I will be getting the big bag! Absolutely love it!

Best chocolate I've bought. Im a treat maker. I was looking for a chocolate that wasn't too heavy when making cake pops or chocolate covered oreos. Its thin and if you add oil based, food coloring, it should be a perfect consistency. When i use chocolate molds it doesnt break easy. I forgot to take pictures of cakepops so here's chocolate covered oreos

Tastes great! Food coloring is easy to add. Only issue was the way the bag was sealed. Unable to reseal. Also, heating in microwave at 30 second intervals burns the chocolate. Melting chocolate in double boiler works best.

This product is supposed to be merkens chocolate but I have no proof that is what it is. It is on a plane unmarked ziplock. Sold with no nutritional label or product label! I don’t even think that is legal in the United States. I have no way of knowing what allergy information I need to put on the product that I will make with it. The description did not say it would come without nutritional information. There is no proof that this is even merkens. It could be cheap Wilton’s crap in that bag for all I know. It’s not an original packaging so for all I know the seller could have tampered with it. I am unable to return it. I am unable to contact the seller to tell them what my concerns are because I get sent to an AI that won’t give me an option to type a concern. Do not buy this product. You will be disappointed. I will be disputing this on my credit card.

I turned 3 box cakes into cake pops and used these for the outside and I’ll never do it a different way again. This chocolate was so smooth and the wafers melted perfectly! The consistency was great, I didn’t need to add any oil to help get it thinner. I did have to use Ghirardelli wafers (2 packs) to complete the job but that was because I only bought the 2lb bag of this chocolate. Next time if I know I need to do 3 box cakes I’ll buy more of this on hand.
