Many Christmas display items with color wheels and lights are from China and use regular or quartz lamp bulbs. Frequently they use the same motor and lamp bulbs. These particular bulbs were perfect to replace several Christmas items that we have. The regular bulbs get very hot but the LED bulbs run much cooler and are typically brighter. Certainly less fire hazard. You save money too because they use significantly less power. Great light bulbs if they fit into your display item. Measure and read specs before buying.

Good value - color temperature as described - worked great for my low voltage pathway lights (original LED bulb had burnt out). :-)

I purchased these to replace a few lights in Christmas decorations. These replaced some halogen lights that literally heated the room. I replaced these and I don’t see any difference in brightness. Not only that, I didn’t have to remember not to touch the glass when replacing them.

Easy to plug in and works well but the LED light is tough on the eyes. Needs to be softer white.

I was a bit skeptical at first due to the low price, but it worked out great. I is much brighter than equivalent halogen. Worked very well and nigh light in the garden is beautiful.

I had low expectations (due to the low price), but all the bulbs worked fine. They generate the same light as halogen bulbs, but consume much less energy and don't get hot. Happy with my purchase.

I bought these bulbs to replace 20w halogen bulbs in 2 large glass showcases that I use to display a collection of colored glass. True "daylight" or natural appearing light is best for visualizing the actual colors, which you don't get with incandescent or even halogens. I am amazed at how much better/brighter the result, the light more natural in a true natural light spectrum vs. the somewhat yellowed harshness of the halogens. And they draw significantly less power than the 24 halogens did, with no heat either. Changed them out in all of a few minutes, well worth the investment. I can't speak to longevity as I just installed them, but have no reason to believe they won't last a very long time.
