I picked this up for basic station stage awareness, and it does exactly what I need it to do with no fuss. It’s got that classic industrial build quality, solid housing, sturdy base, and no flimsy parts. The lights are bright and clearly visible from afar, even from across the shop floor. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play. It comes with a 6-foot adapter, making it easier to reach a plug or leave connected out of sight on the ground. I hooked it up and had it running right away, flawless out of the box. The switches are responsive, and the overall build feels like it’ll last. I'm using all four LED stacks (red, yellow, green, blue), and they’re evenly lit with no flicker or dim spots. If you need a straightforward visual signal system for task status, machine readiness, or just general workflow awareness, this is a great choice. Reliable and does the job without overcomplicating things. 100% recommend.

This is the kit for manually operated Andon light. Comes prewired with a UL transformer. It is well-built, but not really intended for integration with other equipment, except being powered by 24V. If you want a light that turns one automatically when the CNC spindle starts, you will find better options to achieve that goal. And the other industrial Andon I got are a little most robust for doing custom wiring. But for a manual Andon, this is a great option that requires almost no time.

Testing & opinion: When I opened the box, the blue and green were detached so I thought it may be broken, but then I realized they come apart and I was able to just twist them back together. Perhaps The last tower lights I tested only had 1 light with 3 knobs for solid green, solid amber or flashing red with siren. This one has 4 separate lights including blue, but only has on/off for each one, with no options of flashing or a siren. It would be nice to have the options of solid or flashing for each colour, and another switch for a siren. The other one also mixed colours if you had two on at the same time, whereas this one has separate light lenses for each colour so you can have them all on at the same time or just one or two or three. Under each lens is the same coloured LEDs inside so you can see the colours whether it's on or off, but It lights up in that colour when on. One thing I noticed is that when any of the lights are on, there is a blue light behind the "Andont" logo below the stack. It lights up a bit of the blue lens so may look like the blue light is on when it isn't. This light stack can be used for various purposes by communicating visually. The cord connects underneath so it needs to be mounted or hung by the 90 degree hook on the back.

I'm using this andon for my CNC machine and it works well. The lights are fairly bright and easy to see from a distance although I find that the green light is brighter than the rest. The andon arrived preassembled and it feels rigid as it's primarily made of thick plastic with an aluminum pole and the switches have a firm click. The mounting bracket is made of steel and it doesn't bend or flex with the weight of the light or while turning the switches, although it does allow the andon to bounce and shake. This andon doesn't include a buzzer and the lights don't have flashing capabilities whereas some others are able to flash if the dial is rotated in the opposite direction. Overall this is a decent andon and the included power cord is roughly 6 feet long and the power supply appears to be of good quality. The switch box is easy to disassemble and everything fits together smoothly without issues. Something to note is that the lights are modular, however the power cable for the top red light runs through the whole assembly and is soldered to the circuit board at the bottom. This prevents the lights from being removed if needed although the rest of the lights have removable connectors.

Looks exactly like a traffic light. Nice and bright and will be fun in someone's room or where ever your going to use it. Not very big at all and will need to be installed on a wall as it does not have a stand. The switch box is heavy so the light will need a good support wall to sit on.
