Clicking/popping sound
I may have received a dud. Other reviews seemed great. I bought this to enhance the sound in video recordings on my iPhone 7. Instead, it creates very loud clicking/popping noises when I play back the video. I’m returning it for a refund.

Value for money
This iPhone external microphone is very good. I’m using it for my YouTube channel and to vlog on my iPhone 12 and iPad and I have no issues. If I would be picky I would say that the mic needs to be unplugged to listen to the playback recording but this is normal because the iPhone recognises the mic as an external accessory but because it’s an plug and play mic it’s easy to use and doesn’t bother me at all.
