Same for me. Mine just died this weekend. I've used it a few times since purchase in September (<6 months light use). Thankfully I was in the garage when it was running. I smelled smoke and looked over at it to see smoke and fire coming out of the left side vents. I'm trying to contact them now to get a replacement. Pay top dollar for a "professional" and it doesn't even last a year.

Q: Is the drain valve all the way at the bottom of the tank? In other words, can I drain the tanks completely without having to tilt the tank?

No, absolutely not. I have the 10L version and I have to pour the remaining liquid out of the tank by inverting it.

While the cleaner is running, it continually gets hotter and hotter. The temperature control does not prevent the unit from continuing to heat up. The longer you run the cleaner the hotter it gets. Plan Accordingly

Q: For small parts (carb jets, etc.), do you just put them in the bottom of the pan?

I have a fine screened plastic strainer that l load with parts and set it on top of basket that came with unit. I don’t believe it’s recomended to set things on bottom of pan.
