This is my second Maison Berger fragrance, and Amber Powder absolutely confirms why I came back for another one. My first purchase was Charleston, which I loved, and Amber Powder takes things to another level with its warm, refined, and comforting scent. The fragrance is beautifully balanced with soft powdery notes, and a subtle amber warmth that feels luxurious without being overpowering. It fills the room evenly and leaves a clean, elegant atmosphere that lasts well after use. I especially appreciate how it neutralizes odors while adding a sophisticated scent, not an artificial or overly perfumed one. If you enjoy seductive, cozy, elegant home fragrances that feel upscale and welcoming, this is an easy recommendation. I’ll definitely be repurchasing and trying more scents from this line.

The house of Berger describes this scent as sweet & earthy, having the heady aromas of musk, vanilla, and patchouli. It's the only scent I burn in my living room's Four Seasons lamp embellished with Alfonse Mucha's four Art Nouveau style ladies—one for each season—created specifically for Lampe Berger in 1898. In the fall of the year, I burn New Orleans in a faux stained-glass lamp I purchased on Amazon. These scents are tested for Maison Berger from 12 to 18 months before release to be sure they safely purify the air while pleasantly scenting it. If a scent seems too strong to you, it can be diluted with their Air Pur or their Air Pur can be burned by itself as chemist Maurice Berger did to disinfect the air in hospitals, etc. in the late 1800s I know what scents I like & always buy their larger size here on Amazon as a Prime member. Purchasing them via Amazon's Subscriptions further brings down their cost. I buy this way now rather than make my own, as I did in the past, because it's simpler & safer. If you are interested, New Orleans is a nice fragrance oil to start with.

Great scent

If you haven’t used the lampe Berger you should. It doesn’t sound possible, but burning the lampe Berger for two minutes, extinguishing it and leaving the wick exposed for 20 minutes will completely eliminate strong odors, such as garlic, bacon and any other fragrances that you may not want in your home.

This is amazing!

I bought this Lampe berger enchanting sandalwood fuel in November 2020. The scent is correct, seems authentic. I cannot decide if this one is a little weaker-smelling than the one I used to get (I know for a fact that one was authentic). It probably just seems weaker because I am using it in a larger space than I used to, and maybe I am misremembering how strong splashes on my hands or clothes used to smell. I would recommend, would buy again.
