Ideal . I never really paid too much attention at school . Now playing catch up . BUT you never know if these books are by the REAL William Shakespeare or just someone with the same name. Buyer Beware .... ;-)

My favourite comedy, A Comedy of Errors not included. I found the choices in this category bizzare. The Merchant of Venice? Favourite Henry II also not included. I should have read the description more closely - it does say it is an INTRODUCTION to the plays. I have given three stars because the actual books are good quality and I think it would make a nice present for a young person.

Books are beautiful but one of them is printed back to front and it’s angered me incredibly. How am i to look like a top tier scholar for all the ladies if i’m reading my Shakespeare books upside down? What a disgrace.

Whilst this set is beautiful, I am a bit disappointed that a 6 volume collection only contains 15 of his plays, and not all 37.

Lovely gift , my daughter asked for these for Xmas I hope she loves them carefully packaged too

I've always wanted to read Shakespeare and getting this foundational volume was a great idea. Books have a nice cover, durable and come in a sturdy shell. I starting reading A Midsummer Nights Dream and although the print is smaller than desired, it is readable and the text is laid out how expected it to be. I am looking forward to getting to know Shakespeare's classic works and I recommend this volume set to anyone who is also new to the famous writer.
