Will this prevent my downstairs neighbor's heavy bass stereo from coming through into my sunroom's linoleum floor?

You may have to cover the whole floor. My problem is in the living room, couldn't afford to cover the entire room. It didn't work for me. I have the same problem with neighbors downstairs and their gaming noise/home entertainment system. The sound also comes through the walls.
