I love everything about this product. The 2 levels of protection are such a fantastic feature. Having a choice between medium and high protection is very much appreciated. The silver canister is very cool - having a clean, attractive way to carry the earplugs is a definite bonus. Add all of this to the most comfortable-fitting earplugs I've ever used, and you've got a great quality product. I travel a lot, and I use earplugs in hotel rooms to block the noise. It usually takes me awhile to fall asleep because I need to get used to the plugs in my ears. Not so with the SoundWave Earplugs. The first time I used them, I hardly felt them. Thank you for making my away-from-home trips a little easier!!

I have been wearing these earplugs with the green filters (27 dB NRR) and the stiffer ear tips almost all day every day for the past month and a half. I have sensory issues, and these are life-changers. They allow me to hear what I need to but turn life's volume down enough to be manageable. If you have auditory sensory issues, definitely consider these or similar earplugs.However, I have a few complaints:1. The product information says that you should replace the ear tips every 3-6 months if you wear them regularly, and my stiffer ear tips just wore out yesterday after 1.5 months of use (the filters are now falling out). I have switched to the less-stiff ear tips, and I hope they will last at least another 1.5 months.2. These make my ear canals really sweaty. It's worth it for the general overall quality of life improvement, and I can't really think of a better solution, but that's something to consider. I usually just take them out for a little while to let my ear canals dry out and then put them in again.3. In terms of sound quality, I find the white filters (23 dB NRR) to muffle sound more than the green ones, not in terms of overall noise reduction, but making it harder to understand speech. They also seem to cause ear pressure issues when inserting them. I'm not sure if this is a product defect, but it is something to consider.Overall, I will buy ear plugs like these again. Depending on how long the less-stiff ear tips last however, I may try another brand next time.

At first I didn't hear much difference. That is because they don't cancel the noise on all frequencies. It does take away noise and can still hear people talking. When I ride it takes away the whistling wind, the intensity of other sounds and Why do you advertise 27 NRR when it is 26 on the package? Amazon lacks precision around product facts. This will affect who I buy from.So it does work, and I can still be present to traffic sounds. Meaning it is not for machinery noise or sleep if you need silence.In term of fitting, I wish there would be different size. They feel slightly to narrow. but may be that is in fact a good fit.They are relatively comfortable when I wear the helmet.Living in urban area (Bay area) these become necessary. The sound pollution is ever increasing on the street, in restaurant (why do they put TV in restaurant?)...

The string that comes with them is not strong enough to stay attached to the earplugs. They will fall off and then it's a pain to try and get the earplugs out of your ear. There is little to no space to use your fingers to grab them. There needs to be a permanent handle attached to the earplugs so you can get them out. It's very dangerous, as they can keep going in the ear without a way to get them out.

I have very sensitive hearing and after years and years of enduring the blowers in our neighborhood I decided I needed to do something about it, so I purchased these ear plugs and I am thrilled!! While I guess nothing completely eliminates the god awful noise of blowers, these ear plugs helps more than I thought they would. I was going to go see my ETN doctor to get a custom pair made, but now I think these will work for me. This world has gotten so loud I carry these with me now. So happy.

I bought these because you get 2 pair and the case. I hung the case (containing both pairs) from my tool bag so they follow me wherever I go. They block noise really well. I’ve spent a couple 8 hour days drilling into concrete ceilings with a hammer drill right next to my ear/head wearing these. They stay comfortable and the noise of the drill doesn’t get to me. My only complaint is when you cram both pairs into the case it’s a little difficult to get them back out- not enough of an annoyance to take a star away though.

All 4 plugs had their filters pop off on their own over the span of time since I ordered them & the last one just did tonight. Now I have none that function properly because THE FILTERS NEVER STAY ON ONCE THEY COME OFF. Dont ever clean them or remove them for any reason or you'll have wasted your money (tho I wasted money thinking these would be any good)

I got these to wear while I referee for roller derby. After practice I tend to feel like I've just left a concert, with that cotton in the ears feeling. I wore these last night for the first time at practice, and they made a huge difference! I could still (mostly) hear what folks were saying, but the shrill blasts of the whistle were deadened enough that I wasn't bothered by them so much. Not to mention, I felt totally fine when I left, no more cotton ears!
